CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I can't stick with just one person, sorry. But I'll put them in order 
1. My friend Vaughn who died a month ago. I wanna see him healed and whole and not blind in one eye anymore, smiling, arms outstretched to me, his face full of joy. I just wanna run over to him and jump into his arms (he's 6'4, I assume he'll be 6'4 up there too lol) and hug him and laugh with pure joy and say "Hi Vaughnsy!!!!" like I always called him here
2. All my dead pets
3. David. This dude understood depression and despair like nobody's business. We'd have a lot in common, lol.
4. Keith Green. I grew up on his music.

There are so many I'd like to see, but one that comes to mind first would be Joan of Ark even though we have different beliefs in theology and doctrine I still admire her, she was a strong woman who prevailed in a dark time.
