Technically true, you just have to go back many millions of years to find the last ancestor we had in common...
So you admit that you truly believe you come from relatives like cockroaches, and poison ivy, and monkeys. OK.

How demeaning and insulting to mankind.

Truth is that which corresponds to reality -- not that which strokes your ego.

Reality is that something does not come from nothing and that natural processes do not build complex biological machinery form the ground up. Just as it is reality that a tornado does not construct houses and evolutionary natural processes do not lead to ipods, computers and skyscrapers.

Sure it does -- you just choose to call it "God."

and that natural processes do not build complex biological machinery form the ground up.

Extensive studies of reality would indicate otherwise.

Just as it is reality that a tornado does not construct houses and evolutionary natural processes do not lead to ipods, computers and skyscrapers.

Seriously? The tornado in the junkyard analogy? That's all you can fall back on?

Reality is more complicated than your strawmen.

The truth is that you folks admit that you actually believe that you came to exist as a result of worm sex, or whatever. Hilarious.
Perhaps a moment of respectful prayerful silence for your ancestors?

You know nothing about evolution, and you make yourself look silly when you try to argue against it, because you are just arguing against a strawman.

Humans did not evolve from cockroaches, nor poison ivy, nor monkeys.

Humans have a common ancestor with each of those species.

You have a common ancestor with your sibling. Namely, your parent.

You have a common ancestor with your cousin. Namely, your grandparent.

Now, imagine the same thing, but the common ancestor is so many generations back that it was before humans and whatever other modern species you are comparing us to existed.

Of course, I don't think you're actually going to pay attention to this. You'll still keep bringing up the same old PRATTs again and again...

Except a tornado whipping parts around is a totally random process. Evolution is not. Surely you have been told this before? And surely you have bothered to do at least a LITTLE study about what evolution actually is before you bother to deny it. Or do you just not care to even learn about it before you decide it is wrong?

But if you don't even learn the smallest thing about it, how can you possibly be judging it on its merits? Do you judge evolution on its merits, ED?

Should Britains take their national anthem seriously?

For real, you consider Chick Tracts valid?:doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh:

The guy who writes it has even attacked certain sects of Christianity such as Catholicism. The guy is strait up ignorant and insensitive.

Ignorant and insensitive to what, exactly?

Take your pick, I can find a Chick Track which stereotypes pretty much any group besides maybe a narrow range of Christian denominations. It outright calls Catholicism the work of the devil, as well as going on the nut job rant that Muslims and Catholics are working together for the devil.

Then yes, I believe Chick Tracts are valid.

Chick tracts can get pretty racist too, or is that fine by you also?

Please don't worry about what I think about Chick tracts, okay?

Someone ... (was it you?) ... mentioned Post 34, which mentions Chick tracts, and I thought the response didn't fit the question.

Thus I responded (in astonishment) with a question: "Chick tracts"?

What's with the third degree all of a sudden?

I just really hate Chick Tracts. Have you ever actually read one? They are abominations of literature, heck, they aren't fit to be used as toilet paper they are so crappy. They are so bad that they past the point at which it is funny more than a mile ago.
