That statement is contradictory, if the person believes, then why ask for belief? If they don't, then they are lying. I can't believe and not believe at the same time.
Perhaps the guy did have a little faith but knew he needed more. God never said we needed mountaqin moving faith to get saved! Faith comes and grows by hearing the words of God. One woman just had faith to reach out and touch His clothes and that was enough to get her healed. Another guy in the military simply knew that if Jesus was God, He could heal from far away, maybe sending angels like soldiers. That was enough to get his daughter healed. Peter had faith to walk on water, but started to sink after thinking about it a bit! He looked at Jesus, and was OK though. The apostles were fearful and hiding in a locked room, but their 'unbelief' was helped when the Spirit came down, they went out bold as a lion.
Jesus said this..

Joh 6:37 -All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

Yeah, but I would say my faith meter is at -0 (yes, negative 0, for when just plain old 0 isn't enough of nothingness).

If there is something you think you understand, then simply show us. Vague quips about how other poster supposedly do not understand stuff are worthless.

Also "Basic English Sentences." I was talking about things YOU don't understand. Thank you for proving my point.

When worms reproduce it is not something that involves God creating man. When God forms dust and breathes life into it, that does involve the Almighty.

You cannot compare a claim that man came from flatworm sex, to one where God Personally formed man and put His life in us!

And you are still missing my point. Although by this point I am not surprised.

It is interesting to note that the word "almighty" is used only 1 time outside of Revelation in the NT

Greek Lexicon :: G3841 (KJV)
Strong's Number G3841 matches the Greek παντοκράτωρ (pantokratōr), which occurs 10 times in 10 verses in the Greek concordance of the KJV

2 Corin 6:18
And I shall be to ye as a Father and ye shall be to Me as sons and daughters is saying LORD Almighty/panto-kratwr <3841>.

Reve 19:6
And I hear as sound of a vast throng and as sound of many waters and as sound of strong thunders saying "allelouia!
that reigns LORD the God, the Almighty"/panto-kratwr <3841>.

3841. pantokrator pan-tok-rat'-ore from 3956 and 2904; the all-ruling, i.e. God (as absolute and universal sovereign):--Almighty, Omnipotent.

Maybe not. You talk about God and know some things about Jesus. You apparently prayed in the past also. Maybe He is able to give that extra little shove when the time is right. He does know us before we get saved after all...and what we need to go through.

Where there is life, there is hope.

Thanks for the reps the other day by the way.

I am guessing the reason I see Almighty quite often in the KJV is because of how the word is translated..?
