In the context of this conversation this verse in the LXX is rendered peace.
I wanted to simply present a scriptural position.

It needs to be understood that eastern faith is often presented as a way of peace, as is Islam.

So folks need to understand that the peace being offered by such faiths is false.

This is not the peace that passes all understanding whose source is the Creator of the Universe, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

I practice meditation and I have trouble understanding how you think one Bible quote proves that peace is false, when that runs contrary to my experience. By my lights, and many others, it just seems like you are being prejudiced against that which you do not understand.
