I understand. It's not for everyone.

That's awesome! Maybe you could do that with your nieces sometime?

It's nice that you are open to that option. Who knows if you will ever win a gift certificate to get it done. Sometimes they have local coupon books that you buy for $5 or $20 and save money on a bunch of different things. Including manicures. I've never had one in my life but plan to someday. I think my first time I want to get it with my mother who's never had it.
It is a luxury that I cannot afford likely not for a few years even I probably need to find some gas that does nails that needs something fixed.

It's not something particularly for me. I don't like drawing a lot of attention and for a guy I think it would do that.

I agree.
Fun fact, Arnold Schwarzengger gets pedicures.

Thanks everyone that gave me your feedback. It's interesting to see the different perspectives around it. I myself would be open to dating someone that would do that with their daughter. The guy I went on a date with last year was packing and hunting type of guy and conservative... But underneath he had that soft heart for at least one of his daughters to consider spending time with her that way. And I get those who feel uncomfortable just about the idea of just going for yourself and drawing a lot of attention. Keep the thread going if it's something that interests you since I will be off of here after today till Easter.

I mean...no one's saying you have to show off your painted nails, albeit it's easier to hide a pedicure versus a manicure.

Not really wanting children myself (because I really don't think I'd be able to put in the work to nurture a human, to be bluntly honest), doesn't mean I still can't want to do it in that broader sense.

I can honestly see someone putting out the idea that somehow I'm feminized or emasculated, in a way that's not just a matter of preference, like I'm weaker or less of a man. That's the concern I have in terms of how this discussion can go, even if it doesn't manifest here.
