Heathen Dawn that's great
I know some Wiccans, and they're great people.. like you they're openminded, and willing to learn from all religions.

I have a few queastions about what you said. One of them is if Satan is viewd as the pagan god Pan doesn't that make it similar to wicca?Afterall the God of the wiccans is Pan...As I said, in Satanism there is a wide range of beliefs, some believe that Satan was originally the pagan god pan, but some believe Satan has appeared in very much earlier religions.
Quick question...maybe a little off topic..... I've noticed when some people post they leave the "o" out in God...is there a specific reason for this?Hix said:Well my faith Judaism, contrary to popular belief is not in any way similar to christianity. Basically our faith is based on works, how you live your life and how good deeds and following G-ds law can improve the world we live in today in the here and now.
I'm a Eudaimonist. While perhaps not technically a "faith" or "religion", it's certainly a worldview that contains an idea of what one's life can and would best be like. Let's call it a philosophical path.ravenwolf said:I was wondering, could any one who is of a faith not listed explain their beliefs please(or if you want if you are listed you can still post)???
Thanks for clearing that up! I assumed it was something of that natureCerridwen said:Hey~
According to my own research, Jewish people don't "casually" write any Name of God. This is due to the commandment to not take the Lord's name in vain.
I don't think Judaism prohibits the writing of the Name in & of itself, but there is a great deal of concern about erasing or defacing it. Because of this, some Jews will avoid writing the Name by substituting letters or syllables, for example, writing "G-d" instead of "God."

Funny thing is, I dont think when God made that commandment he meant for us to say G-d instead of God. How silly would this be? It is only meant for the purpose of not swearing while using the word God, such as God da... well you know what I mean, and also for other similiar reasons. God doesnt mind if we use his name, but he does mind if we use his name in a way that God would be disgraced or mocked by. God never said to not use his name at all, just to not use it in vain.Cerridwen said:Hey~
