  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Another topic but shouldn't the poor be eating more fat as it's really a cheap source of energy (as well as hydration). This would help solve the hunger problem.

Unfortunately we are not vacuum cleaners that run on energy. Human body needs a balanced diet to stay healthy.

What the poor and frankly everybody else as well should do is to eat less, but more quality food and as little of processed food stuff as possible.

When people really are hungry and fatty food is available, they will eat it. The hunger problem is a question of unavailability. The world currently produces enough food to feed everyone, but it is unevenly distributed.

It seems to me that in food-rich nations where obesity is a problem, lack of satiety is often confused with hunger. When people cannot conceive of spending 24 hrs without food, they don't really know hunger.

Unfortunately there are few charities that specialize in breaking the political and ethnic barriers to food distribution.
