Thank you all so much for the prayers, encouragement and Scripture. It means a lot to me!

Yes, I went in for blood work yesterday and a chest x-ray this morning. Hoping to get some news on what's causing this horrible cough that I can't seem to shake.

Andrew went to school this morning in a fairly good mood because it is sunny out! He hates gloomy days and we've had our fair share recently. I am just hoping that his whole day goes well, that he stays safe and is happy.

I have been doing better with depression (I think) but my anxiety is sky-high. I am falling back into a bad habit that I haven't done in years...picking at my scalp (gross, I know!) it's stress related and hard to stop. It's covered by my hair so no one but my hair stylist would ever know, but still my head is now sore and it's just annoying.

Most of my anxiety stems from worrying about Andrew. I just really need to focus on the fact that God loves him and is protecting him. It's just difficult.

Well off to the rest of the day before I have to go get my little monkey! I hope each of you is doing well!

Hi Court. Well, how great that Andrew went to school OK and all was well with him this morning. That is indeed a blessing.

So pleased that you got your bloodwork and chest x-ray done - now that it is out of the way, we will pray that it is a good result. Or at least that they can find out what is wrong, and get rid of that cough for you. It is so exhausting coughing all of the time isn't it.

Wow, it is great that your depression is lessening. I am so relieved to hear that. As for the anxiety - I know that is horrible because I tend to be a bit that way myself, but if you recognise that you suffer from this, you are halfway to getting it resolved.

I know how much you love Andrew, and understand your anxiety about him. I am sure he will be fine though Court. God WILL look after him and yes, he may have his bad days, but ultimately he will be O.K. How could he fail to be O.K. with a mother who loves him as much as you do, and with a great and wonderful God Who cares for him and loves him so much, too. But our prayers for him and for you will continue.

Praying you can stop picking at your scalp. That must be really annoying for you. Praying you can relax Court. God bless you and lots of love and hugs to you and Andrew. xx

He was/is in a great mood tonight as his teacher let him bring home the class mascot, a stuffed animal named Pete the Cat. He's thrilled! He gets to keep the cat until next Tuesday and we are to journal about Andrew's adventures with Pete and take pictures, etc . We will have to get a bit creative as we live in a small town and there are not a lot of places to go!

Well - Off to the "night shift". I love you all~

I really need prayers today! I had Andrew stop by the school nurse on the way into class this morning and she told me he really needs to be seen by his doctor as he is still sick. I have an afternoon appointment for him. The thing is I haven't driven into the "city" in over a year and I am terrified of driving. I am so worried that we will get into a car accident. I have to do this though for Andrew. He needs to see the doctor today. Prayers for a safe trip are appreciated!

When you drive, is there certain music that helps you more? I know for some it may be distracting, but maybe some Christian or easy listening music to help you stay calm may help?

I have driving anxiety too, so bad. I don't even have a license yet! lol So I totally get it.

Thanks so much to those of you that prayed! We are safely home! What a victory! I even took the freeway on the way back! It's been a loooooonnnngggg time since I've felt confident enough to do that!

Andrew has a sinus infection. We got antibiotics to treat it. Thanks again!
