Could you please continue to pray for Andrew? He was hit in the face at recess on Friday by another boy in his class that has been calling him a baby and a nerd. Andrew's teacher and the school counselor are aware of the problem and the other boy has been punished, but I don't know if that will stop it. I just want my baby boy to be safe. Thank you for your prayers!

Hi guys! Thank you for your prayers for my little guy! It was so hard to drop him off at school this morning as he was crying saying he didn't want to leave me! This whole thing is tearing me apart! I just feel like sleeping to forget about it for awhile. I just want him to be safe, confident and happy at school. It's wearing me out!

Thank you guys for your prayers. I feel just exhausted. I will be leaving to get Andrew in about 20 minutes. I am really praying hard that he had a great day and is happy and safe!

Okay...So I picked Andrew up from school and at first he was really quiet then he started crying. He said he had a bad day and that no one would play with him at recess. This just has to get better! I will be talking to his teacher again tomorrow morning to see if we can do anything differently.

Thank you for the prayers Cally! I am praying he actually enjoys today and stays safe. I home schooled him last year and it literally sucked the life out of me so I really need school to "work"! I just want to see him safe and happy!

Hi Court. Sorry I haven't been around properly. Been reading all that you have said though, and praying for you. I am so sorry that things are not going so good at school with Andrew. This must be so stressful for you.

I am pleased that you are going to be talking to his teacher. I am also pleased that his teacher is in communication with you and has not closed down the lines so to speak. I am praying that you can reach some new ways of dealing with this. It sounds a really difficult problem, but as has been said, you drove on the freeway and that was answer to prayer. Let us pray that something really good happens now, coming from the discussions with Andrew's teacher. God bless you Court, and Andrew too and God bless his teacher for trying to help. xx

rowantree- My dear, sweet friend you have no need to apologize. I know you are praying for us and I am praying for you and your husband.

This is VERY stressful for me. I just want him to be safe and happy. Every day that I am not with him to protect him and then he comes home upset because he has been hurt is agonizing. His teacher is wonderful and we are very blessed to have her. I have a sneaking suspicion she is Christian. It seems most of his issues occur on the playground and she is not out there to supervise. They have playground attendants for that and the playground is huge.

I just hope he is able to develop a sense of confidence. I remind him daily that God and his Guardian angel are with him and that I am with him in his heart. I just wish I could make the world a safe place for him.

Awwww, Court. What a wonderful thing to tell Andrew. I am soooo pleased that his teacher is so good and maybe even a Christian. It shows doesn't it, when someone is Christian? Well, I am so pleased that you had a good discussion. But oh how stressful all of this is. I do understand - will go on praying that things work out here for you. I pray for precious Andrew that he be protected and that he be safe at school. God bless his little soul.

It does show when someone loves the Lord. I want to ask her, but it is a public school so I don't know if it's overstepping some law...Yes, we had a good discussion. She is able to watch Andrew and the boy that hit him in class but has no control of the playground. I am praying for him like crazy today. I just want him to have at least one good day under his belt.

I saw my doctor today and she got my chest x-ray back and it's clear. She heard me have a coughing attack and immediately said she thinks it may be pertussis or whooping cough. So, tomorrow I go back to her office for pertussis testing (she had to order the test). I am kind of hoping that it's positive so we can just get to the bottom of this and get the cough treated. Funny thing is I am more worried about my appointment tomorrow making me late to pick up Andrew than anything. He does not deal with change in schedule very easily and may flip out if he has to wait a bit longer for me, so I am praying they can test me quickly and I will be on time for pick up!
