We are pushing through. There is so much I could say but don't know how to put it in words.

To my dismay Andrew has spent a good portion of the day parked in front of the T.V. because I am feeling so lousy and my husband does not know how to interact with him.

Praying that Andrew gets back to school tomorrow and that he does not get hurt in any way. Maybe I can get some sleep in...

Court, I am so sorry. I am pleased that you are still pushing through, but so sad that your husband does not know how to interact with your son. I can only imagine the things that you want to say but don't know how to put into words. When you can, we will be here.

I will pray for you Court, to get well soon. I will also pray for Andrew, that he will be OK at school tomorrow if he goes back. I will pray that nothing hurts hiim. I will pray for your husband that he can start to understand a few things that he needs to understand.

Court, I feel your sadness and anger and dismay. I am so sorry.

Praying that indeed you can get some sleep. We will take each day as it comes - you and us together. We will be here.

If you want to talk, please PM me. Or if not me, I am sure there are others who would willingly listen. I feel that you have so much that you want to say and at some point this may come out or start to come out, even if only in dribs and drabs.

Please look after yourself as much as you can Court. We really are rooting for you and onside with you.

Okay- Now I'm a bit angry. My son woke me at 5:30. I let my husband sleep 'til 8:00 because I know he's been working hard. He gets up, has a cup of coffee, does not even ask how I'm doing (as I am coughing my head off and running a fever) and says he's going back to bed because he "didn't sleep well". Must be nice!

Awww, maybe he was just tired or out of it? Maybe try to think of times he did nice things for you or let him know you need rest.

How are you feeling now, sister? Praying for you now.

I am still pretty sick. Now it has moved into my stomach along with a horrible cough. Praying my son does well in school today and that he stays safe (he keeps getting hit by tether balls or swings at recess and breaking his glasses, etc.) So I am praying for a safe, peaceful day for him.

And don't feel bad about the TV. Mom's need a break now and then, especially when you're sick. I hope your husband can help out more, but if not don't worry, a day now and then in front of the TV won't do any harm. Cbeebies can be a great babysitter when you need to preserve your sanity.

I'm beginning to feel like I did when my mother and sister thrust what looked like a sawn-off Doberman Pinscher (in fact, a large, irritable Dachshund) through the car window onto my lap, saying - quite seriously - 'He hates men'. Apparently, he used to go for his previous owner, a butcher, and other males, which was why they got rid of him!

I think the dog must have sympathised with me being in tow with two crazy women.

Sorry to introduce a note of levity at this point, Court.

I am praying my son does well at school today and is safe. He was crying and clinging to me this morning as I dropped him off. He was saying he is scared and didn't want to leave me. It broke my heart to leave him. I would die if anything happened to him.

For now I am off to shower, do dishes and sleep. I will answer private messages in a bit when I am hopefully feeling better.

It was so hard, rowantree, to leave him this morning. I get to go get him here soon though. Then the afternoon/night shift of homework, dinner, bath and bedtime begins. Praying I can get through it. Really sick.

I am so sorry that you are really sick. You have gone through so much since having to stop your meds. Do you get to talk to the doc tomorrow about the meds, or is it about the cough/fever etc? I pray that it goes well anyway.

Awww, I can imagine how hard it was for you to leave Andrew this morning. I bet you will be soooo pleased to have him home again. You are such a loving mom.

Praying for you to feel better soon, and that you get through all of the things you still have to do. I bet you feel as if you just want to hide beneath the bedcovers and not get up until you are better. God bless you Court. May He give you strength.

rowantree- Don't laugh...my doctor's appt. tomorrow is for something entirely different. I have been throwing up (sorry, gross, I know) for months now on a regular basis and we can't figure out why. I think she's going to set me up for an endoscopy. But she is my General Practioner so I will be discussing my med withdrawl issues as well as my current illness with her. (I don't envy the woman!)

I do want to just curl up and hide, but I can't. God be with me! I am praying for you and your situation too. You are close to my heart!

rowantree and Criada (and others praying for Andrew) - THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS! Andrew had a "fabulous" day today and came home happy! He actually had a friend to play with at recess. I would appreciate continued prayers for his health, safety and happiness....

Oh COURT - wooooo hoooo about Andrew. Oh I am sooo pleased. It is wonderful. Let us go on praying for dear Andrew. He is so special.

I know how you feel about wanting to curl up and hide - I share that feeling very often LOL. And of course we can't, can we? Humphhh.

I will be praying for your appointment tomorrow. I do pray that you can talk about your meds also. I am so sorry about your throwing up - oh how I hate throwing up ! It must be horrible. I pray that the doc sets up that endoscopy so you can find out what is causing it. Do any particular foods do it?

Thankyou SOOOO much for your prayers for me and my situation. I must admit I get scared at times.
