Your first sentence is like saying that an egg is not an egg but a chicken embryo. The apostles were the core of the Catholic Church. The Church doesn't forbid marriage, the Church requires a priest to give the gift of his sexuality to God.Paul was not not Roman Catholic, he was an apostle of Christ. Paul didn't forbid marriage for bishops or for any church leader or member, that's a false doctrine which only Roman Catholics teach.
