I've just logged on and it's...different. The first thing I notice is that information about any given poster is not visible unless you click the arrow under his/her name. I'd personally like this to always visible.

And we now only have 'like' buttons? I have to say I thought the previous options were quite handy. As in 'agree', 'funny', 'infomative', 'friendly' etc. Different posts often need that variety so you can briefly comment without replying.

I notice the rating system has been cut to “Like”.
Probably a good thing, must be a hassle to administer.

There ya go...this warranted an 'informative' button!

I think it will take time to get adjusted to the new look and new functions.

But I do have two things I already want to say.
1 - when I click on my username, I notice there's two scroll bars (one that's for the notifications section and another one for the area outside the notifications). It would be great if the one scroll bar can be eliminated. To me, it seems like there's enough room to fix it. I've attached a picture to help explain better.
2 - I don't like the new "like options". I liked the previous set.

Pro: these emoticons seem a little bit easier as an Android user to get to. Also smaller size instead of being too big.

And I've just noticed that when I reply to a post or simply post a new reply, then the icons at the top of the dialogue box for bolding text or changing it to italics and the rest of the options are greyed out and unavailable. How do I access these?

I miss the praying hands in the prayer section, now we can only like, but I would not want to click on like if someone is having a problem. So many people use that to let people know they are praying.

I like going on chat sometimes, and am wondering if that is still part of the forum.

I'm also liking the dark mode. Agree with the need for a praying hands reaction, otherwise people will have to keep bumping old threads with quick replies which may result in new prayer requests on the wall getting buried quickly. Should be an easy addition, I've seen other forums using this new software and know the set of like reactions can be customized. Oh, and the "New Threads" box on the right side of the main forum page was useful, though I don't know if that can be brought back.

The more I mess around with this, the more I like it. For instance, I can ex-out the information boxes at the top of the page, and then change it to ddark mode... It's easy to find recent posts, everything seems okay.





Only one glitch I see, is that when I had a reaction (like) to one of my earlier posts, when I clicked on it, to view it, it didn't take me directly to the post that was liked - instead it took me to the first post of the page, and then I scrolled down to find it... Not that it's a big deal, it's just slightly harder.

I don't know about you, but I'm digging the opportunity to roast old tech support posts from 2005. I think the "Similar Threads" feature is awesome and will increase forum engagement by a significant amount over time.

This new look is far too pale and hurts my eyes, is there a way to make it darker?
So I can see the other option is black. I find white writing on black hard as well. Sorry to be difficult but is in-between grey possible?
