Good to chat with you again...but this time I have a different opinion than you. LOL!


Yes, I believe one should encourage hearing for themselves. All our words should point to the Lord and not just a "feel good" word that makes the person look at the giver.

I'm going to use myself as an example. I have been in a spiritual "place" for 4 months. While I heard the Lord tell me what I was going through, I had doubts, I was making any progress and IF I heard correctly. Remember, I was hearing ALL sides. After a few months, I was becoming tired, thinking I still hadn't done enough.
When I received my "word" from Oscarr (and a couple others here), I felt refreshed and able to continue with increased faith.

I knew the Lord would meet my need. He had given me a vision of an open door of revelation. All the words confirmed that what I heard several months ago were true and were from Him.

I have many prophetic friends. Anyone of them could've been used to give me this word. Knowing Oscarr- and his fruits, I also came to him. Interestingly, the Lord chose to use this forum to confirm it rather than my "non-cyber" friends.

I agree that we should not be dependent on this forum to hear God's word. I believe what others are doing here is trying to have people practice this gift. To step out in faith and offer words, whether it be wrong or right, a practice thread is a safe place where one can go without judgement. Hence the title of this place. I have seen this done at Bethel, in Redding. (Bill Johnson's church) Their ministry team goes up and offers prayer and a prophetic word.

As for switching the Spirit on or off, whenever I gave a "word", I gave it in faith. The person would have to judge whether it was helpful to them or not. I usually found that the words were true and not from my flesh.

The opposition can be two fold. One is at the spiritual/demonic and the other natural/intellectual level. I am happy and blessed that we have a wonderful loving Father who seeks those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. I strongly believe that Oscarr is one of the few whom the Father seeks and this is why we're attracted to this type of ministry.

We're attracted to this ministry either because, we want to learn what the Father has to offer or because we are jealously opposed and will do anything to kill, steal and destroy as the enemy would have us do at his bidding. I choose the former. May the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ continue to bless and use you Oscarr as His anointing flows from the throne room! Shalom!!!

Is this really from God?

No disrespect meant, but He sounds like a fortune cookie. There's nothing to this. "many for you to touch" could be interpreted as anything. This whole thing could be interpreted at any point in her life as there will no doubt be hundreds or thousands of combinations of events that could unfold where she "touches many".

Vincent spiritlead steped up to the plate and gave words of encouragment and confermation of two gifts and Jewl has acknowledged this and confirmed the words both confirmed and gave edification. Spiritlead gave words because they we asked for and Spiritlead did so out of Love for his neighbor who asked for encouragment. The outcome was an example of Love and edification. God is Love and God has said we are to edify each other. The Holy Spirit was involved because Love was involved.

Vincit if you are willing to examine the words given here with 1Cor13:4-7 which defines and gives the chacteristics of Love. I know it was encouraging. No question. The problem is he is claiming to be speaking in the place of God. Like God is speaking directly through him to someone else. Hence the use of "I" and "my".

The Holy Spirit was involved because Love was involved.

One can be loving and misleading at the same time. I'm sure most hindu's are loving, but they are misleading also.

Yes, I just sowed a seed of doubt. I doubt God is actually speaking directly through him. And discernment is taught in scripture. Thomas basiclly asked Jesus to prove He was actually Jesus risen and alive again. In return, Jesus showed him the nail scars. So, I'm asking you to prove it is actually God speaking.

Vincint people of the world such as the hindu religion have it half right. they know God they know Love. But what they dont have is the forgivness of their sins though Christ. Yes they know Love, they know God they just have not been cleansed of their sins by accepting Jesus Christ as saviour. I hold much hope for the lost of the world who know Love who know God because they are halfway to salvation we just need to introduce them to Christ and His gospel. Peace and Love !! Rod

While I agree with you Millerrod that God is speaking to and through His children on this thread, I am automatically on alert when a person claims to be speaking a Word and it is then given in a foreign language. In this case, Old English. I'm not saying that disqualifies it, but just that I'm more cautious at that point.

I kept wondering who is Vincent? And where you were getting Vincent from; then I saw the "Vincit Veritas" under my name which is latin for "truth conquers". The name is actually Jim or Jimmie.

Of course.

Neither. It wasn't intended to lead someone to God. IT was instructions to a specific person. But, It was so generic, that it could mean anything. I mean, look:

The post was nothing really new. Love people. Show people Christ by loving people. Of course! We are told this already in the bible.

I wasn't questioning the message. I was questioning the source. Is it from God Himself speaking directly through spiritlead, or was it from spiritlead giving advice already found in scripture?

Jim i think my heart weeps the most for those poor people who dont know and have not experenced Love and dont know God nor Christ. Those who have never had a mother or father who cared who has no family who care. I work with 50 + people with disabilities whos many have family that just dumped them off when born and they have never know or been touched by Love their hole life its so said but yet its rewarding to see when they for they first time meet God through Love. An outreached hand a caring word of Love towards them it is amazing to see their reaction the first time they come into contact with Love. Its breath taking to see Gods Spirit --Love when it flows through us into another human being for the first time. Brother really all we are trying to do here is allow that flow of Gods Spirit Love to flow through this screen into anothers heart at a time they are asking for a needed lift. No one is trying to take the place of God we are trying to be a vessel for God to use as is His Will. And brother God Will is that we Love. Peace and Love !! Rod

God is the Message, we are just the messengers. God is just using His children to spread His Word to those that want answers and don't know Him. It has nothing to do with taking God's place. i hope im helping! im just trying to add in my two cents!

I understand your point, but it does matter what language is used. It very well could mean the difference between speaking in tongues and prophecy. But I'm not arguing with you. A word spoken in Love outweighs all else.

I think you're right that confirmation and edification are important and it doesn't matter what language or how God does it. I just become skeptical when someone does something where they claim to have God speaking through them. Many errors can result from someone claiming this and being wrong.
