being born again makes us babes in Christ.So you will have a mature baby that needs fed on the word untill he grows in the Lord and puts away childish things. Just one interpretaion.
As to hijacking the thread IMO dreams and the interpretation of dreams is still working in an aspect of the prophetic though I know it is listed as a seperate gift in at least one place in the Bible.

After reading your post, I had a vision of you.

Only you werenot "you" but rather a hunk of metal in a metal workers shop.

And the craftsman came along, and saw "you" sitting off in a corner alone and he picked you up and said, "This one I can do something extra special with"

After that, he began to "melt" you down, and during this heating process you kept crying out and begging that he would remove you from the heat. But your cries went unheard, as he continued to melt you and then to scrap the "dross" off the top.

Soon, he was able to see his reflection in you and poured you out into a mold, a swords mold, to be specific.

Here he let you "cool" only to take you up to "hammer" you into form.

After much hammering, heating, cooling,and then more pounding, you were just the perfect shape for him to polish into a gleaming, sharp sword.

I'm not sure where you are in life right now, but I just want to encourage you, that no matter what stage it is, HE see's His reflection in you.

The Word of the Lord came to me yesterday morning as I was out for my morning walk with Him. It was a personal word to me, but I'll share it because I know it is a word that will encourage many of you, and I believe the Lord is prompting to me to share it with you for that reason.

He said this to me, "Keep doing what is right."

Don't grow weary in well doing, beloved. You will reap in due season. Keep loving, even when you get no thanks or recognition. Keep giving, even when it seems useless. Keep praising when you feel like complaining. Keep rejoicing when you feel like crying. Keep doing what is right. Keep doing it. Your answer will come. What is in darkness will be brought to light. Your righteousness will shine as the noon day. The Lord will declare your innocence. The Lord will show Himself strong for you.

Last night I was praying about something that I just felt like it wasn't going to happen, like God won't help me with it and while I was praying it suddenly came to mind that this past year God has been answering prayers over and over again that I had been praying about for several years. I sensed that God was saying to me that my prayers have been being heard and that there is a process through which He will answer them, even if not right away, He is still putting it into motion right away. Because as we have been told, God works all things to the good of those who love Him and who act according to His will.

My children, please know I hear all your cries, and all your prayers. And I answer each accordingly with no exemptions. But many miss their answered prayer because they are looking in the wrong area. My answers are not always what you want, but they are what you need to grow to spiritual maturity. Often you look for the miraculous big thing to happen and miss the blessings of the small answers. I hear many cries to be free of certain things in your lives. Cries to be better christians. I have gave you the power and ability to be free and be all you can be. Do not look to outward appearance of your brother and sisters, for outward appearances are decieving. But rather look to the heart and see how I am changing lives. Here's a "word" for everyone asking for a word:

You are treading on dangerous ground. I told the same thing to another user on this same thread. If you're looking for God to speak, turn on TBN or Christian radio...or read your bible or pray...all are valid. If you desire a word too much, you give place to the Devil to manipulate and deceive you.

Trust God! He will do what He said He would do! Confirmation comes as He wills, not as you lust for it! Trust Him! He has not given up on you. No, it's not gonna happen that way. God will intervene. Yes, it WAS God speaking to you. No, He doesn't lie!

I just want to apologize for this previous post. I realize now, looking back, that it was done out of irritation, not edification or even exhortation. It was not a loving reproof, but a stinging rebuke. Again, I apologize. Obviously reading the word is a good starting place I also like finding time to listen to God on a regular basis,sometimes we spend too much time talking to God and too little listening. Also are you plugged into a good church? I know of a great one south of seattle if you need info pm me as I don't want to derail the thread.Peace in Christ,Cory

I went through this season as well. What got me through it was prayer, reading the word, and a whole lot of praise and worship. We tend to thank God when high on the mountain tops but whine in the deserts and low places. Get out the praise and worship cd's and let it rip sister, with all your heart.Praying for you

BellaSong, I've been thinking so much about you. You've definitely been on my heart! I'm praying for you.

When rushingwind spoke of whining in the desert, it made me think of how Israel acted, recorded in Psalm 78. To get a tidbit of an idea of how to avoid an empty life and a lot of needless trouble, check this out. Israel was whining in the low place, and the outcome was not good.
