Do ships go thru or under the arch?

The one I saw was over a river, but I don't know if the real one does or not.

I just looked at a picture of it and a river boat with alot of people on it was going thru it on a river, so yes, the arch goes over a river. So guess what Heartland

Our church is having meetings every day, there is a very powerful evangelist here from Texas, and he gave me a word today, he said he saw ships with cargo, what do you think this all means, Heartland, or anyone that God might show you

I don't know man, but when I saw the "shadowed" arch, I was looking from the north to the south. I do know that it was important that I saw the "shadowed" side of it though. (and I feel pretty silly and exposed in sharing all of this I hope you know!...LOL)

Just a suggestion, but how about we don't dig for meaning? If it's God it can't be denied or held back. If nothing is leaping out, just hold it in your pocket. If it's for you, and the time is right, it will knock you over and there is nothing you can do to stop it. Be still my friend, God provides as He provides.

What occurs to me about the ships with cargo is that these ships are not aimlessly sailing along with nowhere to go. They have a purpose and a destination. Also, these ships are not empty. They have items to deliver once they get to where they are going.

This can speak of our lives. We are not sailing along with no purpose or direction. There is a direction to your life. There are things that the Lord has placed within your life that are going to be used of Him once you arrive at the place where your 'cargo' is going to be delivered. Therefore, the direction you are considering heading in has a ministry to others. Your life is not empty. It is full of resources that the Lord is going to use to minister to the ones that are waiting at the other end of your journey - at the destination where you will soon arrive.

I am not sure about reversing course. Jesus said that a person who once has put his hand to the plow and then looking back is not fit for the kingdom of God.

If a person is approaching the arch from the opposite side from what is generally the accepted 'image' with the sun shining on it, may speak of the direction of your ministry being different to the 'norm' or what is generally accepted in your group or the fashionable way of doing things. God often calls people to do things that are new. If you notice the exploits of the OT heroes, God called them to do things no one had ever done before, and those things were never done that way again.

You might like to think that God is calling you to go in a direction that is different from the accepted 'fashion', and that you might be opposed for doing it, but God will vindicate you through the fruit that will come from obeying Him rather than being subject to the fear of man who will try to keep you moving on the accepted paths.
