I thought this was prophetic practice thread. 3/4 of what I read "and I read em" all; is chatter and or words of encouragement not true prophecy.


I only saw like maybe 25 % that was actually prophecy and Spiritlead and HephzibahBenJudah haven't even posted in a while.

Where do they post?
Is there a thread on CF for True Prophecies?

According to the very first post by the KingsAmbassador this thread is to be used for "edification, exhortation, and comfort."


We can only give the word as the Holy Spirit allows. In the meantime, fellowship and loving on each other as brothers and sisters in Christ is edifying and comforting.

When the Spirit flows through one here to provide a word then it is given.

I am bit confused myself.

I find one day I feel I am getting a word , other days nothing.
I don't even know for sure if it is me or God, but Go with it anyway.
If it is from God I feel I am obliged to pass it on, if I am wrong I am sorry but feel I am not doing it on purpose

As for the rest of the posts I make here it is due to the love and friendship in here.

Sister,

You are right in that this is supposed to be a thread for prophetic practice and it's gone off a few times.. but nothing too bad because it's all according to 1 Corinthians 14:3 for encouraging each other.. some people need the peace in this thread (And there are few peaceful threads) and it encourages them to keep going sometimes.. Just fellowshipping with other people can help us sometimes unwind and comfort us in ways we didn't know!

You are right though sister.. there is more fellowship than prophecy and sometimes we need to redirect ourselves and remember what kind of thread this is But if you really feel led you can start a new thread specifically for prophecy

Also.. Words of encouragement (or comfort) can be considered prophecy according to 1 Corinthians 14:3.. We can be moved by compassion in our spirits to prophecy and give words to edify and encourage our fellow brothers and sisters.. How many times does God do this to us? God enjoys to delight in us and to be delighted in! He receives the glory for it because we receive prophetic words for people in how to encourage them and if they leave encouraged it is not of our own minds or strength but by the power of God that we are operating in! Even a simple word can have the power to change someone's DAY or ATTITUDE and these two things can affect a persons character! But anyway... What I'm trying to say is that you're right on sister And maybe you should do something about it if God leads you to.. who knows.. maybe you could start a new thread and it would be 10 times better! AMEN!

We do give prophecies....when someone asks or the spirit moves us to. You have to read all the threads...there are six now.

The student will be the teacher. 1 Tim 4:12, 13 came very strong to me. - Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 13Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching.
