CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well i guess its between you and God because i dont have a clue 
Isnt it cool how in a world of billions of people, wars, people dieing all thats going on and Gods Love is so great for one human being to stop all that is happening and give a word that only God and that person has understanding of. That my friends is a True and great Father and son--daughter relationship. Makes the hair on my arms stand up every time i witness it.

Thanks Stephen i know God doesnt need it, He knows all things about you, it just helps me pray to put a real name with the person i am praying for. Sometimes when i pray for someone God shows me little personal things about the person that only God and them would know. It sure helps a person to realize just how involved in our lives God is. What wonderful words and so true. i was not at peace for 40 years it didnt matter where i was at, how much money i had, it didnt matter who i was with, or even how many people Loved me. It didnt matter what drug i tried or how much i drank, i was never at peace on the inside till the day i turned to God then and only then did i have peace inside. No matter what God gives be it gifts or blessings or even forgivness it seems for myself that feeling of peace within is the greatest gift God has given me. Maybe that peace is found in knowing that salvation is found in Christ but it seems much bigger than even that, its like the peace isnt found in anything, its just something given when we finally turn to God.
I think maybe thats how heaven might be if one could take that peace and place it in a bottle and then live with that bottle of peace thats how i think heaven will feel. Peace and Love !! Rod

Phew....I just got back from a "Feast of Tabernacles" being held at my church....I was one of the "Israeli" dancers, and after 2 straight hours of dancing...my poor feet have taken quite a beating!
But I tell you all, you cannot replace anything better in life, in comparision to being (and dancing) in the Presence of the Lord. There is just NO comparision to how great and marvelous it is to entertain the King of Kings at a festival celebrating His bounty and blessing and that He Tabernacles (dwells) among His people!

I came in here with the intent of bringing something of value to the table, but after listening for a word for someone, I heard nothing. So I will post my prayer for this thread instead.
Lord, I pray that you would use this thread and those who come in here to Your glory. Please let all the words spoken in here, whether prophetic or conversation, be uplifting and striving for holiness. Tawhano - Stephen As i was praying for you this morning God showed me a woman lying on the ground --floor she was wearing a floral patterened dress she looked like she had passed away, i am not for sure if she was dead or not but the way her leg was twisted under her it seemed like it. Stephen i am almost sure this was for you however i was praying for another person also so if this has no meaning to you i will pass it on to her. Let me know. Peace and Love !! Rod

What possible good could come from knowing this? If the woman is dead then there is absolutely nothing I can do for her. If she is injured than I will take appropriate action regardless if God told me it beforehand or not. What good is a prophetic word that cant be acted upon?

I don't recall Rod saying that it was a "word". It was a vision. And sometimes a vision can be changed if acted upon. If You know of someone who fits this description maybe you should either start praying for her, or start pretecting her. A vision is not 100% true. It could be of something that has already happened and a certain person needs to know of it, or it could be a warning that something is about to happen. Regardless, there is no need for you to get snippy at Rod for telling you what he saw. I'm sure it wasn't a pretty picture for him either.

If this would have been something you had seen then only you and God would have known that you seen it. And if you would have seen this it would have been a tramatic moment for you. These small personal glimses within peoples personal lives show just how much God Loves us and how special and close we are to God.
Stephen let me give you an example i was praying for an elderly man who had been a deciple all his life. When i prayed for him i was shown a bench. i had no idea what a bench meant but when i told him what i was shown it was a bench that he had proposed to his wife on it was this bench they sit together on and it was the bench he had made into a memorial after his wife died. How did this help this man ?? it helped him to see that God has been with him at all moments of his life. No it didnt save no it didnt warn but what it did was edify.
And had this message been for you and it was something you had experienced it would have shown you how involved God is in every moment of our life.
As i said i was praying for you and another person and if you have not experienced seeing this then now i know that is is for the other person. Peace and Love !! Rod

Yeah right, I was just told that someone I know was probably dead and nothing more. I found what he said very disturbing and I asked a question as to what was the purpose of telling me that. I really dont care if you found it snippy.c1ners said:
