  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Proof???!!!!!

Can we quantify the actual percentage of all types of cancer treatment patients that recover because of the treatment??

Is so please post those stats.

Yes of course we can - when you go through drug trials you can't get approval unless you actually cure people, especially if you're making them very sick or irradiating them at the same time.

To be honest, I'm pretty comfortable with believing that there isn't some conspiracy about cancer treatment, and am happy to take the NHS' word for it that it works, but here's the first result off google, plus a few link-clicks:

http://progressreport.cancer.gov/doc_detail.asp?pid=1&did=2005&chid=24&coid=223&mid=

That's just for breast cancer patients. But you can you get something even close for prayer?

Here is a link that you as a scientist should love since it proves so much science wrong.Like immunization for example.

http://www.freedomfiles.org/technology/med.htm

Yeah, immunization - pah! Smallpox just disappeared by itself, right? Mumps is starting to come back to Britain not because people stopped having the vaccination but just by chance?

Sure.

Actually yes but you would refuse to accept the evidence or the stats or their source so why should I bother??

Yes God commands obedience.

Obedience is not morality.

Charles Manson, Hitler, Saddam Hussein etc. seemed to be able to judge what is and isn't moral , right??;)

We punish such people because they do have a moral sense that they ignored. How can we punish and judge such people if we do not know for ourselves what is and is not moral?

Your dog can also show compassion ,love and , remorseand can greive the loss of a loved one. But thats a different topic.

Dogs act on instincts that we do not fully understand nor comprehend.

Right. And AIDS is not caused by HIV, vaccines don't work, and the long laundry list of other lies on the site you directed us to. Those are out and out lies, you do understand that, right?

Nope small pox mumps and many other diseases did not go away. The went dorment and here in the endtimes as prophecied will be plagues and super resilient starins do to mankinds stupidity in thinking it has any control over nature.

This is why you see the reimergence in all of the plagues of the past and immurgence new ones too.

Here is our only protection.

Pslams 91 : 9 If you make the Most High your dwelling—
even the LORD, who is my refuge-

10 then no harm will befall you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him
and show him my salvation."

Here is what atheist and pagans will think in the near future as believers are unharmed.

Acts 28

Ashore on Malta

1Once safely on shore, we found out that the island was called Malta. 2The islanders showed us unusual kindness. They built a fire and welcomed us all because it was raining and cold. 3Paul gathered a pile of brushwood and, as he put it on the fire, a viper, driven out by the heat, fastened itself on his hand. 4When the islanders saw the snake hanging from his hand, they said to each other, "This man must be a murderer; for though he escaped from the sea, Justice has not allowed him to live." 5But Paul shook the snake off into the fire and suffered no ill effects. 6The people expected him to swell up or suddenly fall dead, but after waiting a long time and seeing nothing unusual happen to him, they changed their minds and said he was a god.

Lies and wishful thinking. The small pox virus did not go dormant. It can't be found anywhere in nature. It has been eradicated. The only place you can find smallpox is at the CDC headquaters in the US and various other (scary) labs across the globe. It is just as virulent now as it was before vaccinations eradicated it worldwide.

This is why you see the reimergence in all of the plagues of the past and immurgence new ones too.

The reemergence of diseases are usually due to the pathogen evolving or poor hygeine. No magic sky gods are involved.

People are for the most part morally bankrupt without God. There are exceptions of course the Bible says so.

You are showing that some people are morally bankrupt, even if they do believe in god, on this very thread.

I believe posting verifiable lies about the medical profession is morally bankrupt.

I am a scientist at heart - if the evidence is there, I'll be forced to believe it. Nonetheless I would also be forced to wonder why God helped whoever people you found, but will never cure an amputee, and apparently does not cure patients of heart surgery (source1, source2)

So, you have the statistics. Where are they?

Nope small pox mumps and many other diseases did not go away.

Then explain why the last natural case of smallpox was in 1977, and why the world has not seen smallpox at all since 1980? Smallpox is a disease which kills 30% of those infected. A few centuries ago it killed up to a seventh of all children and left the survivors scarred and sometimes blind.
And yet you see fit to hand wave the efforts of those who rid everyone - yourself included - of the disease away, preferring to subscribe to some goodness-knows-what. Vaccination works and if it doesn't you need a damn good explanation for how Jenner managed to inject a boy with live smallpox and not kill him, and subsequently give the world the tools to get rid of the disease.

The same with mumps - how do you explain the recent resurgence of mumps in Britain? We've got a prime reason here - that people stopped taking the vaccine. What's your idea?

The went dorment and here in the endtimes as prophecied will be plagues and super resilient starins do to mankinds stupidity in thinking it has any control over nature.

I see no reason to believe that whatsoever. Mankind doesn't have control over nature - even if God supposedly set us as its stewards (or was it merely to provide us with company - Genesis is contradictory here) but it can suppress smallpox.

This is why you see the reimergence in all of the plagues of the past and immurgence new ones too.

Christians have been predicting the endtimes since a few years after Jesus' death, I think. You don't present much reason to believe yours is correct.

Here is our only protection.

Pslams 91 : 9 If you make the Most High your dwelling—
even the LORD, who is my refuge-

10 then no harm will befall you,

11 For he will command his angels concerning you

15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him
and show him my salvation."

I guess that shows why smallpox never killed anyone who had faith in God, right?

Here is what atheist and pagans will think in the near future as believers are unharmed.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Did you know astrology was taught as part of western medicine in its beginnings.

They weren't TrueDoctors

Did you know prior to becoming a mystic Nostraddaamus was considered a great doctor??

Neither was he.

I wish the nutters that pushed this anti-vaccination rubbish had the courage of their convictions, and refused vacinations for themselves and their families.

A pathogen evoloving or ( MUTATING ) because of puny human scientific minds trying to manipulate nature and it backfiring on them.

I do refuse them .
I have never been vaccinated for small pox mumps chicken pox. I have had mumps and chicken pox .

I now know how to avoid getting any disease and its scientifc too.

pathogens also evolve (MUTATE) quite naturally as well.

You might want to read about the Great Influenza of 1918 Pandemic.

It is thought to have originated in China in a rare genetic shift of the influenza virus.(source)

It's a blueprint for the next massive global influenza pandemic.

Sometimes influenza strains jump species after rather natural MUTATIONS (adaptations).

I bet when it happens (and it will) you'll not be so quick to downplay puny scientific minds.

I hear it wasn't a fun way to die.

As long as there are people around who "refuse" vaccinations it makes it harder to eradicate rather nasty diseases like smallpox.

They are, however, usually eliminated from the population faster.

Remind me to never live on the same continent as you if the scientists have to re-eradicate smallpox.

When the pustules erupt, the skin doesn't break, but actually separates from its underlying layers. The pain can be excruciating. Scabs begin to form eight to nine days later and eventually fall off, leaving deep, pitted scars. All lesions in a given area progress at the same rate through these stages. People who don't recover usually die during the second week of illness.(SOURCE)
