Absolutely beautiful. But still not flat.View attachment 303623
Above a photo of one of the great lights God created to give light on the earth.
God's true creation
Heaven and Earth
is found and described
in The Bible, not in science books.
Absolutely beautiful. But still not flat.
Hi d taylor,What christianity needs now are believers who actually believe. It can be seen what the other kind has done.
So how does the New Jerusalem work on a globe, does not look like a very well constructed addition.

Hi d taylor,
I admire your desire to live and believe God's word! Could it be possible that there is a different interpretation of the scriptures?
One thing I wonder is in the flat Earth way of looking at things, what causes the phases of the Moon?
Hi d taylor,It is interesting how many christians just simply can not believe that God created as stated in the Bible.
Not much to interpret here, really plainly stated.
Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth,
So even though God stated in The Bible that He created these lights for signs and seasons and for days and years. That it is simply just impossible to a majority of christians. That God simply did not create the moon as a light (the lesser of the two great lights) and. That He did not create it with the phases the moon goes through, as part of its function of being used for signs and seasons, and for days and years.
And all this is not believed because of anything The Bible states, but simply because of a man brought about field of study (science) that most people just blindly accept what the scientist says.
We went to moon, great man is brilliant. Now man will and can solve all out problems, who needs God.
Without really even considering could they possibly be lying.
Hi d taylor,
Thanks for explaining your views on that.
I think it's similar to Jesus talking about how people having just a small amount of faith can move mountains. I've never seen anyone actually move a mountain, so I could conclude that neither I nor anyone around me has ever had even a small amount of faith. But I think a better overall approach is to view that scripture as not something meant literally. But definitely true!
Even if we set aside Moon landings, I still wonder about things like what causes the phases of the Moon.
Or another thing I thought of, if you want to talk about this, is why people in the southern hemisphere see different Stars than the people in the northern?
God created the heavens and the earth period. That's pretty expansive. It is interesting how many christians just simply can not believe that God created as stated in the Bible.
There is a verse somewhere about the Earth being a sphere. Isaiah I think.

I've seen planets through my father's telescopes when I was younger. Saturn is especially easy because it's bright and is pretty visible even in small telescopes. And we can see the planets in the night time skies at different times. Back in the day many children loved buying their telescopes and enjoyed this hobby. I would suggest maybe getting a telescope for yourself and a whole new world would be opened up to you so you can see with your own eyes. God's creation is a wonderful thing.
My father was a wonderful Christian who enjoyed "all" of Father's creation. When he passed, we had many of his pictures put on the dvd for his funeral. He had milky ways, haley's comet from '86 and many many more. My father was an amatuer astronomer with no agenda. Just enjoyment/hobby.
Is this the one,
Isaiah 40:22 "It is He that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:"
Yes, I agree that God made the moon for times and seasons. What causes the moon to have phases, God created the moon to have phases, it was designed/ created by God to do this. I just do not see why that is a hard idea to believe.
Unlike what science has convinced people of and that is that they can see for millions/billions of miles.
A person is limited in their vision capabilities, everything a person sees goes to a vanishing point.
A person can only see so far when looking over a flat plane eventually everything above the eye level will eventually when far enough away go down to the horizon's eye level. That is why a person can not always see the sun moving over the earth, the sun eventually travels far enough away that it drops down to the vanishing point at eye level.
Yes, I agree that God made the moon for times and seasons.
God also made light. We can do experiments with light to learn more about it. For example, we can see that light bends when it goes through a glass of water. What causes this? We can do experiments to try to learn more.
In the same way, we can ask what causes the phases of the Moon. Why does the position of the moon in the sky and its phase affect the tides?
How far do you believe a person can see?
We can talk about the sun vanishing over the horizon, but I think it would be good to have a flat Earth map that you accept first, so that we can talk about the distances involved.
