Too many people become parents for the wrong reasons. I told my son when his daughter was born that his life didn't belong to him. It belonged to his daughter before him. Thankfully, he's a great Dad.Then why do people assume they are supposed to send kids to school, church or whatever?
Really?
First, please define “religious right”. After that, pleas present the evidence that this group wants forced prayer.
All because the church abandoned the Kingdom of God to rejoin the world of man in Constantine's time and become kingdom builders in their own image rather than God's, accepting the power Jesus turned down in the desert.
I’m not sure how you think an anecdotal story addresses my question.Webster Parish, Louisiana (CNN)Kaylee Cole walks into school each morning and has breakfast with friends.
Every day starts the same: Announcements, birthdays and school events are broadcast over the public address system. What comes next is what she dreads.
"They say, 'Please stand for the Prayer and the Pledge.' And then we move right into it. And it's the Lord's Prayer," Cole says.
Cole sits down. Raised as a Christian but now agnostic, she doesn't want to hear it.
...
Cole is silent, respectful, she says.
"Hallowed be thy name..."
Her classmates glare at her. One, she says, has even muttered, "Devil be rid of me!" at her.
...
Religion made its way into instruction, too, Cole alleges. She recalls a teacher slapping the Bible on her desk and declaring it should be taken literally. And a science teacher saying evolution is a "fairy tale," that students should believe in "Adam and Eve, not the big bang."
Louisiana student says prayer was forced at school, so she sued - CNN
Good thing the president is making this an issue so that hopefully these things won’t be happening. The ACLU and ACLU of Delaware (2017) reversed a school’s decision to suspend a Muslim high school student who wears a kufi. The school agreed to allow the student to wear his kufi in school, amend district policy, and provide training on students’ religious freedom rights.
The ACLU of West Virginia (2017) contacted school officials on behalf a Muslim student who said his classmates and teacher harassed him for his faith.
The ACLU of Northern California (2015) represented a Native American public high school student who wanted to wear a ceremonial feather in his graduation cap.

The site has many, many more examples of the ACLU's work to assure students can exercise their First Amendment rights to freedom of religion in public schools.

I’m not sure how you think an anecdotal story addresses my question.
You should actually read the article. The ACLU is already putting a stop to this. And they will do it, regardless of the religion of the student being abused.
Trump already made it clear that he cares only about using the issue to hold his base.
I’m not sure what you think you addressed. But let me refresh. All those facts show you who is opposed to religious freedom. The fact that the religious right is furious at the ACLU for supporting religious freedom for all students, is sufficient evidence how they look at it.
Is that on the licence plates?
