Hey guys I thought you'd be blessed by the Evian water advert. They started advertising it again over here in the UK and it always leaves a big smile on my face. :)

YouTube - Evian Roller Babies international version

Given the amount of water we're suppose to be guzzling these 9 months I hope you enjoy it

:) It's been a long week!

I went to the doctor last monday with bad as cramps (i.e. sleep 2 hours, then wake in tears for one and so on)... and they sent me to hospital. I have been there monday, wed, and fri getting bloods and ultrasounds. Seems to be a sac so far (by the looks of it at least...) though I do wonder whether there are two (he didn't say anything, but was definitely looking at another "sac" looking thing..) My HCG levels are rising extremely well though (from 1438-3600 in 48 hours) and great progesterone levels, so not a huge worry right now, except for the sharp low pains I've gotten for two days.

Next Ultrasound is on the 21st Jan (effectively 20th for you all) and we'll see how that goes. But yes, I am so so happy to be here with you all! :)

I have my second Dr. appointment on the 19th of Jan, and I should be able to hear my baby's heart beat for the first time.
I don't know why, but it's terrifying me. Mostly the worry of: "What if there isn't one??"
I know worrying helps nothing, but I can't help myself.
This is my first, so I'm more nervous than most.

Prayers would be much appreciated,
- Niffer

I so know what you're going through. They couldn't find mine when I was 9 weeks (I'd seen it twice on ultrasound), went back a week later and it was there. It all depends on position. I'm a worrier too, but it'll be okay!

I'll be thinking of you! It took the nurse about a minute to find the heartbeat, and it was quite faint but she found it at 10w4d. I totally understand the anxiety though.

Erin... you're getting close to when you can find out the gender! Are you planning on it?

Yes--we are! I'm a little bummed b/c I know people who found out at 17 weeks. I won't get to find out until 20. These next four weeks will DRAG by!

Is anyone else planning to find out?

P.S. You all will be the ONLY ones to know the name of our baby! Certain relatives won't like what we've picked, so we're letting the gender out and keeping the name in.

We're doing the same thing Erin, we've decided to keep the name a secret until the baby is born. I don't want a lot of input from people, and I doubt they'd be able to say anything bad when the baby is in front of them! Plus, I like the idea of having that between just DH and I. But we will share the gender. :)

See I'm the opposite on a name -- I couldn't think of one. I had to everybody I knew what names they liked (I ended up hating them all and just picked a name that I though would sound pretty) ... I'm thinking of going with Addison Grace :)

I'd love to join in on the name talk, but I think I might just wait til we have seen a heart beat... I was spotting last night, and whilst I know it's somewhat normal, I'm still so scared... Just wanting this to go smoothly, not the way it's currently going!

Aw, Hannah. I'll be praying for you. The more women that I spoke with while I was spotting told me how they spotted and even bled . . . and still went on to have healthy babies.
