Oh, I'm jealous of you ladies feeling kicks! My time will come, but it must be so nice and reassuring to feel your baby!

Oh, and lotuspetal... I hear you on the fast food! It seems like that sits best on my stomach! I work fast food, so it's all readily available and it's so hard to turn it down. Tonight we're doing Subway. :)

We did Subway tonight also! One pregnancy, I had a friend bring me a Big n Tasty with a milkshake every night (we spent time together after the kids were in bed and we were waiting for my hubby and her fiance to get off work). Sometimes, you do whatever will stay down. Then later you make up for it with lots of fresh stuff (like my tomato sandwiches I craved through two pregnancies).

Thinking about it, it makes sense. It's the protein. Protein helps with morning sickness. Peanut butter, hamburgers, cheese...

^_^ Working in such an environment would be like winning the lottery for me right now. :D

Thankfully it looks like my craving seems to be more for the meat content than anything else, so I'm trying to keep up with my veg/fruit but have extra portions of lean meat at meals.

I meant to say with regards to morning sickness - this time round I found that if I didn't run on empty whilst working (i.e. carrying an apple, orange, banana to munch between meals) it stopped me from actually vomiting. Plus I would sip something fizzy as soon as I felt nauseous. For some bizarre reason it was diet Dr Pepper during my first trimester this time round. The bubbles seemed to alleviate my sick sensation.

OK, so I'm pretty sure I'm not getting enough protein. I have an aversion to pretty much all protein (chicken especially) and I do not like eggs, I had an allergy as a kid.

Is there any other easy ways for me to add it into my diet? I've thought of protein shakes, but are they gross? And I know that a lot of them have other things in it too, I think people use it for bodybuilding.. are they safe? I just want whats best for baby, and I have a feeling that all my junkfood isn't it! LOL.

Right now, I'm living off of soda crackers and cranberry ginger ale.
I've only been sick twice, but its the constant feeling of nausea that really gets you.
In other news, I have my first dr. appt today where he goes over my blood and does the pap and all that.
So prayers would be very welcome!

Peace,
- Niffer

Age: 24
First baby?: Yes
Boy/Girl/Don't Know: Will know in 6 weeks, but positive it's a girl!
Hobbies: Singing, Song Writing, Playing Guitar (Don't do any of these as much as I used to), lately it's just been spending time with family.
Anything else you want to share: Excited, pregnancy is going well. First 8 weeks were VERY hard, in and out of the hospital with bleeding and considered high risk. But things are going smoothly now.

I think we should add due date too! :)

Due Date: June 21/2011

Good idea Danielle.

My EDD: 7/24/2011

As for me today... I am so sick! At first I thought it was just m/s, but I have thrown up 15 or so times in the last 15 hours. Yuck. Poor DH got the bug too, we are a miserable bunch here today. I'm dehydrated, but can't keep fluids down... hoping the baby is ok!

Hi Danielle

I agree this is a good idea

My EDD is 29 April 2011

I'm at the midway point now - sleep is getting increasingly uncomfortable so I tend to be quite crabby and tired during the day. :)

First baby?: Yes
Boy/Girl/Don't Know: Don't know, but hoping hubby will let me find out as I'd much rather be easily prepared.
Hobbies: Internet browsing - does that count? - also we run a youth group, study (not so much an interest but something I am doing), and spending time with family.
Anything else you want to share:
Estimated due date: From my calculations it's the 8th Sept 2011.

Hoping the early symptoms don't get significantly worse quickly - yet knowing they will - as I'm already feeling nausous on and off, tired, sore as "bb's" and sensitive to smells... I am running a 2 night camping trip with the young adults at church in a few days so eek!

Many congrats Nobility  I pray that those first trimester symptoms are tolerable.

And to all of us future moms - Happy New Year!

[bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]!!!!!! HANNAH!!! Soooooo glad you're here!!!

I got really bad cramping--not enough to make me cry, but it was enough for me to think that it was just a REALLY bad period coming on. I didn't think I was preggo because I began cramping the week before AF was expected (as usual), and I continued to cramp for a few weeks.
