Prayers please - a fall

For me it was a great help at this particular time - I'm safer at home rather than trying to go to A&E [ Emergency ] particularly as my glasses are broken so driving would have been a BIG problem

Tsk, you should have been wearing your sunglasses out in the garden
Of course now you will have to wear them all the time in order to hide that big shiner you gave yourself

Thanks everyone for your prayers - it's been quite a shock to my system.

My face is , putting it mildly, a mess. I've bruising right down the left side including my lower jaw , still have a black eye on the left though thankfully that's improving , and the one on the right is almost away.

I've no pain at all [ not needing any painkillers] I've no problem sleeping or eating or drinking. It's clear that time is a great healer

believe me - the photos of my poor face are truly horrible.

Other than being frustrated at the damage and the loss of my glasses , I'm absolutely fine.

Possibly the one good thing is the social distancing and the request for us to stay at home - at least no-one can see me
