Posted this about an hour ago on my FB wall. Wanted to share here because we need the prayers.
Just got off the phone with the Children's hospital oncology/hematology clinic because I'm concerned about Christopher. He told me yesterday that his head hurt a bit, but I figured it was after working outside cleaning out some weeds for a couple of hours and that he might just be a bit dehydrated. But he told me this morning that his head hurt at that moment and then proceeded to tell me it hurts when he runs and when he gets up from lying down or sitting. I asked him what kind of pain. Where and how does it feel. He pointed to the right middle upper part of his head, and he said it feels like his brain is being squeezed.
And I asked him how long he's been feeling this (C doesn't tend to say if something hurts or bothers him until it gets irritating enough for him to be bothered by it to tell us). He said for a while. I asked him what does that mean. Has it been hurting since we got here (about a year now)? He said, "no, not that long." I then asked him, "Oh, the past month or so?" He said, "Yeah, something like that." Ugh I'm very concerned about this "brain squeezing" - pressure in the brain is what that means...and tumors do that. So, they're going to call me back to see about getting him in sooner than September 4. Your prayers would be appreciated. TIA.
