I pray for protection for Peter. He fell downstairs, cuts and grazed, and shaken. Nothing broken, so I made him a cocoa and jam sandwich and he has gone back to bed.
This is new to Peter as he has always been so healthy, I thank the Lord for looking after him.

Peter stayed in bed until lunch time and then came down with a walking stick. Having a rest this afternoon.
I pray for him to trust in the Lord and not be anxious.

I thank the Lord! his cuts and the big bruise on his foot etc, all healing up very quickly.

Perfect! How many of us here gathered before our screens in the sight of an all powerful Creator does not gather but with the specific benefit of Christ amongst us?

"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."

(Matthew 18:20)​

Said late in the Gospel yet timeless for those with a heart like Peter's.

And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.​

Ohh, but how much more do you suppose could be accomplished if there wasn't so many doubting Thomas's amongst us? We know by the Gospel that there were times when doubt drove even the Christ away.

Even here, how much more a direct impact when petitions are offered in one accord. Still, God is able, and what did Peter (Cephas) come away with but his own strong resolve to heal, saying, "I have" it!

“Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”

Off to the hospital this afternoon, checking Peter's heart and lungs, breathing etc.
