Prayer requests

I was looking it up online. It seems that often pancreatitis is from drinking, but Jim is not a drinker and never has been that I know of. It also said you could get it from gall bladder problems. My mother had this, but I think Jim had his gall bladder out already. So....I don't know.

My hubby's aunt had it very badly for years and never touched a drop of alcohol, so it isn't necessarily a primary factor.
She suffered with it, and so I pray he has a better outcome.

Please would you pray for my friend, Dave, and his wife who both have cancer, and are receiving treatment in different countries. They are Christians PTL. Thank you.

Dave went into hospital for his operation this week, but they found that the cancer had spread too far , so they are not operating. His wife has managed to get back to the UK though. Would appreciate prayers for them. Thank you

Thank you kaykay. He was a good friend from several years ago; I've not seen him for sometime and this news has shaken me...but it's much worse for him and his family I know.

On a completely different matter I really need Godly wisdom. There is an issue in our church which is freaking me out, and I may have information which has a bearing on it. I need to know whether or not to go to the person concerned or keep it to myself. It doesn't help that he is really busy and very difficult to get hold of. I'm very stressed about this, and would appreciate prayer. Thank you.

Asking for prayers for my sweet friend, Georgia, who is recovering from knee replacement.

Our Lord, is faithful !
Whilst we may not understand, why He may appear not to act [for-us]

Thank you everyone . I heard today that Dave is in good spirits, which has cheered me up . On the other matter, I think God is telling me to leave well alone, but I'm not sure yet .

Praying for GE friends, and including Jim and Georgia.

Tomorrow is Flag Day, so today, at 11 A.M., in the Blackshear City park, the American Legion is having a Flag Burning Ceremony..retiring all those old tattered flags. It's a pretty moving ceremony.

As the Chaplain of our local post, I have the privilege of being part of the ceremony, leading all in prayer.

Pray that lives would be touched, and that people would remember to pray for the US of A.

It wouldn't have been such a big deal (minimal car damage etc) but I already have chronic neck problems stemming from a rear end car accident when I was about 17.
Please just pray for me for healing. I'm hurting some but not terribly at this moment. Thanks.

I am sorry to hear of the accident and it's effects upon you
I would urge you, NOT... to rest, your neck
if you hold-it stiff to avoid discomfort, there is every possibility
of it stiffening
Some analgesia would be helpful [if, you can tolerate it]
to help with pain-relief... [pain-management...not, avoidance]

But you should if-possible, continue, to move that area as-normal
which would also help maintain circulation
which in-turn aids the reduction of inflammation

Please ... do not seize-up

So much to pray for. so sorry to hear about the accident Kaykay. You may need to get physio on it right away hoping you have medical coverage. They used to blame alcohol for pancreatitis but the only person I have known with it never drank a day in his life. I think the fact that diabetes was pre existent indicates as dave said an imbalance. Lord we pray that you would restore the right balance to Jim's system.
Praying for Dave and for Georgia too.
