Praying for you rebornfree I have had times where I could not feel the love of God. The Word is the truth though and God has told us he will not ever leave us. Lord I ask that this truth be cemented into the bedrock of her heart. Amen

I'm beginning to feel better already.
I really wish I could feel God's love, and I don't know what the "block" is.
I see it with financial provision
(which I hope encourages those who are finding it difficult
with the credit crunch; I can testify to His miraculous provision)
but find it harder to see on emotional issues.

Before I went to bed [?] I said to you

that you will gain access to His armour
and be protected from the words of man [for, all men are liars ??]

for I feel, that whilst we are not yet perfect
we CAN be 'attacked' by those whom do not walk our chosen path
CAN be 'attacked' by our own conscience [could I have done better ?]

I have found something,
that pretty well wraps up, why it is we can feel brought-down


I KNOW what I have been through
and... the many times, I questioned my 'place' in this world
because my physical abilities had hit rock bottom
and was for several years 'dependant' upon others
for, assistance with jobs that needed 'labouring upon'
and also, the one time
that I took steps, with intent to escape my 'lot'

The voice, that I heard inside me.. it wasn't mine
"Wait until the morning, things, will be different then"

and they were 'different'
my then spouse... exposed herself as a calculating 'parasite'
and announced, that I was no-longer of any use to her
as a breadwinner or, as a spouse
I had never... heard her speak to me like that
not, in all the time that had passed since we had first met
the tone was almost 'masculine'
and the cruelty, behind her verbalising of, these subject-matters
let me know, that I had never really-known
the person I had married over twenty years ago [to that date]


When it comes to trusting in our faith
remember...
Satan, cannot touch us..
We belong to our Father

Be washed in His forgiveness
Be comforted
Be provided for
Be without shadows for His Light is upon us

I don't always feel saved. How can I be sure that I am?

Since a person is never completely free of sin, it is sometimes difficult
to accept the fact that forgiveness is whole and permanent.
Once a person has accepted Christ, the devil can do nothing
except to make him/her doubt or feel unworthy.

Satan knows that if he can cause doubt to spring up
in the life of a believer, he can rob that believer of the joys
of being a Christ-follower.
The best and most sure way to know that you are saved
is the simple phrase: Because the Bible says so!
If you have come to the Lord in repentance of your sin
and asked Him to be Lord of your life, then you are saved.
1 John 1:9 promises,
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just
and will forgive us our sins
and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

God loves you so much ​

that He gave the life of His only Son to pay for your sins.

Do you think that God would do that, and then not keep His promise?

Now, I did read
that your church, wasn't much help
[failed to see your predicament as you do]​

It's not that they do not want to try to encourage you
but it is probably because they too are human
[and therefore not-perfect]​

We, each of us, walk our seperate and 'individual' paths toward Him​

From the time of our birth, until the end
of our time here, on earth, we are 'learning' how great He is
It is our 'faith' that makes us God's children
and His word, that will sustain us
for He, is... faithful-everlasting​

I have no-doubt whatever, that He has re-adopted me
that He, has equipped me and strengthened me
to deal with my life, as it is now
AND... more importantly... for-me... confirmed to me
that 'my way' leads me
to consider others, before-myself​

That, by looking inwards our VIEW is confined
~we are blinded to His works here [for us]
When we put these things in His hands and look to others
our 'burdens' are lifted from us, and we walk on in His name​

Thank you Buttercup and Little Flower, for your prayers and messages, and Jan for that song too. The words "everyone wants to be understood" and "everyone wants to be loved " really express how I feel. It was beautiful to listen to. Sometimes the burdens get so heavy, and those sorts of messages really help. Thank you ladies .

Thank you too Dave for your concern and prayers.The "be comforted" and "be provided for" were particularly lovely . Re my church: they have helped in terms of prayer and prophecy, but perhaps haven't realised how severe the distress is when I relive the early-life memories. Maybe I should have contacted someone, but those closest to me are having a very difficult time now and I felt they needed space.

Thanks for those for me . I had avoided contacting a church leader friend, because he is under severe stress, but he called unexpectedly today and reassured me on an issue which had been causing me distress. He seems to be coping under His stress too. PTL and thank you for your prayers .
