My pastor's wife just called. She said that my pastor is well. God is so awesome! Thank you so much for praying.

Please pray for my friend and ex co worker Nancy. She had to retire early due to a blood disorder and moved a ferry ride away from us. (chronic lukemia) I and some other coworkers are meeting her for coffee and dessert tonight as she is in town for a couple of days to see her mom and kids and perhaps drs visits. She is very private about her condition but I know she is now needing blood transfusions. i have shared christian resources with her but not sure if she believes in God. Her daughter in a church goer/Chrisitan (I don't really know her) Thanks Jan

please give them warmth and happiness and lend to them your crutch
strengthen them and take away that which now blights their days

Father God, I pray for the time this evening with Jan, Nancy and the other coworkers. May it be an enjoyable time, but may it also be a time when Jan is able to witness about you. Please give Nancy a desire to know you, and we pray for an opportunity for someone, maybe Jan, to lead Nancy to accept you as Saviour and Lord. We also pray for her health and ask that you heal her of her lukemia. In Jesus' name. Amen

I have been through such a situation TWICE in my past

and I WILL pray
that the 'termination of past-agreements'
is effected, smoothly and propitiously for you

There IS, never a good time for such happenings

[for both parties]

Actually, what he has to lose is power and control over me. I can not move or make decisions about the house until things are settled property wise. He has not contributed in any way toward maintenance of the property... so it's not costing him anything to keep me trapped.

On the other hand I'm stuck in a house that I can ill afford to keep up, financially and physically. In an area I have no roots or reason to live in.

Thank you for the prayers though... I do need them.
I need God's wisdom and favor too.

While God does not ever violate the human will, I know He can change a person's heart. Look at Proverbs 21:1 where it says, "The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, like the rivers of waters He turns it wherever He wishes."

Father, turn this man's heart! Open his eyes to see, his ears to hear, his heart to understand the Gospel, and the truth of Jesus' death on the cross for him and Your gracious love. Father, draw him to You. Father, change him. Do whatever it takes, Father, change him.

Father, I also pray for Shaina, for Your wisdom, graciousness and love to flood her heart. Father, let her feel how much you love her, help her to see Your graciousness in this situation. Help her to speak with wisdom, and to move with understanding. Help her to know what to do. Bring her godly friends who can help, Father, help her now in this time of great need. Thank You, Father, that You have not left her or forsaken her. You love her, You are with her.

you are in a deep forest where,
when you look, in any AND even in EVERY direction
the UNKNOWN exists,
as maybe, yet another NIGHTMARE to discover [?]
and, to be experienced and lived-through

HOWEVER! and unbelievable as it may sound to-you at this very-minute
down the road from now [?] all this
will be behind you and JUST-MEMORIES, that will not bother you AT-ALL!

You CARE so much about the place you are at BECAUSE it-remains
FOR-YOU a part of WHO YOU ARE / have-become

Many emotions are involved and
many of them, concern, the things of this world
which, could 'age' ... be destroyed by fire... be stolen... or even sold
all, events .... that can remove them from, your responsibility
alt. your need to care for them is in your heart and mind

The VALUE, you place upon them is/ are the anchors, that HOLD-YOU
in your misery

IMAGINE.... it could be repossessed... removed from you
IMAGINE.... you are not married... and must now
find your own way BEYOND your recent past

Putting DOWN, 'the burdens' of, co-responsibility
[because you are on your own(effectively anyway)]


ONE DAY.... not so far off from, now you WILL
come-out on the other side of this
You will, view 'better and less-disconcerting, times' ahead

These TRIALS... are a part of
the many MISTAKES we can and often do make, when 'in love'
that, for many selfish reasons, can turn, into businesslike-sharing
and evolve then, into a relationship
in which, little or nothing is then shared

I spent almost two years ALONE but for two visiting sons
before the divorce took place and the ex, claimed her share of the house
by obtaining a court order, for the sale of the house

For mortgage loans of, £23,000.... I sold the house
19 years into the 25 year mortgage, for £95,000

Looking back.... I could, simply, have walked away
and saved myself, so much, of, the suffering
of, so-much heartache and avoided the spitefulness
that accompanied her-departure

With the counselling and caring of others [my own age]
I could see.... how
my illness and my inability
to increase my income then, beyond welfare benefits
HAD ROBBED 'her' of, her-dreams, for, her-future
that, in no way
included me, as a loved-one

The divorce.... was an indescribable blessing
The sale of the house... enabled me to move away
and to, purchase STUFF,
that I found useful
and to do STUFF,
without, having anyone at-all interrupt these for their own NEEDS

I COULD, do what pleased-me
and WHAT PLEASED ME
was, that I could NOW [then] look BEYOND 'myself'
and CARE that others [not my own family]
could use a few words from me
at, TIMES they too, found themselves
with LITTLE or no-control over STUFF in their lives
iow: swept along by and BECAUSE of,
the actions and will, of those, whom they
once, felt deeply for, and
whom NOW, felt, deceived, abused and deprived of reciprocated love

Please.... be aware.... that Jesus, will never forsake you
that, He, is there and will listen to your heart bleeding
that, He, will lift you, out of these days and, into the sunlight of your life

Do you have recourse to Legal Aid.....?
Can you not.... make your own steps to resolving your predicament ?
Can you not obtain a court-order for sale of the property ???
or, an order against his income to the amount of his-share ????


I will that you are made able
to take a leading role in the determination of your position
as it 'presently' is

Shaina I am sorry to hear that you are in this difficult situation. Father I pray that all Shaina's needs will be met according to your gracious will. I pray that she will have peace from this moment on knowing the depth of your love for her and your complete desire to care for her daily needs. We ask that ties that are of the enemy with this estranged spouse be broken in Jesus name and that both Shaina and her ex be free to move forward with you as their saviour and guide. Amen.
