  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well praise the Lord everyone! The doctor visited my wife in the hospital and released her since my last post on this thread. I brought her home less than two hours ago. Her strength is still down from the way her body was wracked for so many hours, but she is eating good now. With a good night's sleep and her usual 'get up and go' attitude, I expect her to be herself again in no time. Thank God for His love and mercy and His healing power!

Dear Father God,

Divine Physician and Healer of the Sick,
I turn to You in this time of illness for our sister jayh. O Dearest Comforter of the Troubled, Great Physician and Healer, aleviate her suffering protect her in danger of death, and with Your gentle love, grant her the grace and peace of your Holy Will.

Dear God, we ask this as your children to whom you have given this great gift of healing.
In the spirit, we reach out to our sister who is physically seperated from us by geographical location, and join us in our hearts bound to You in your kingdome as if my hand lay upon her shoulder.

We ask that You restore Your servant to health again.
Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge Your gift of healing and know that whatsoever You do,
You do for the love of us so Your Honor and Glory will be seen by all.

Through the Divine Mercy we ask this in the name of your beloved Son, Our Saviour Jesus Christ. We Thank You and offer praise for your mercy as we trust in you always.

Amen.

Need prayer as soon as possible please, to be able to sleep, a virus blocking breathing ability. Thank you

This is a bad virus!
Sorry I missed this when it was timely. I am saying a prayer for you now anyway! Hopefully God has already resolved the problem!

Hello to all, thank you for praying: It was some week!

Lost a lot o sleep, but well on the mend. to share:

One morning my thoughts went to bread. I asked the Lord for fresh bread that day, not yesterdays because that was old bread, "Fresh bread today Lord"

Thoughts of the Manna came and how it had to be collected fresh every day. Then how we pray this in the Lord's prayer. "give us this day our daily bread..."

I was at a low point, and physically tired. The phone rang with an offer to help ( Jesus must have read my heart --for some TLC!)

About 5pm when people have tea, a couple arrived, then another couple, ( this was most unusual) Hubby who was working late, suddenly walked in the door. He had a large square of " something" that was wrapped in foil. "I have something in the van" and he left to fetch it. He explained the item in the foil was from a lady, who I hadnot seen for about 18 months.
Peeling the foil back I found a newly baked loaf of bread, she had made at home.. then I was handed a bottle of wine, sent from one of his customers.

It took a moment to realise how God had answered, He is amazing. a small matter, in an ordinary day, in an ordinary home, but He cares and I hope this touches you, because I couldnot have envisaged God answering as he did. Yes. I was low and tearful and tired, but I do thank you for being such support.

I asked for a word He gave me bread and wine .. your sister Jean.

How marvellous and so symbolic. WOW. I am glad you are feeling stronger and encouraged.
Son and I went to the DR and he got the catheter out with no incidents. So now we pray for continued healing and no further bleeding.

In this case the natural bread and wine was truly heaven sent. Praise God!
