God , we have come here today to remind our friends that you love them; that you have not forgotten them and will never abandon them..We may never see each other on earth, but we have come here to help carry their load of pain, suffering and sadness..Lord would you bring relief from this terrible aching and hurting? Jesus, pain and suffering are no mystery to you and we know you understand ..Would you bring to their minds when they start to suffer that they do matter.? Thank You Lord...that this life is not all there is, but that we have hope for another life in which pain, suffering, sadness, disease, and sorrow will be gone....In Jesus Name....Amen

I wanted to pray for the United States today. As we go into Super Tuesday, I believe that this is so important.

Father, we come to you as Daniel did, confessing our sins and the sins of our people, Daniel 9:20. To us indeed belongs shame of face, as we have not followed You, or listened to You. We have turned aside and failed to heed Your word. We have been amiss in helping the poor and the lost. Father, we confess this to You and pray for Your mercy.

Father, cover our sins! Help many of us to find our faith again, and help others to meet Jesus for the first time. Father, help us to know You and to walk in Your ways. Have mercy on us, Father, and bless us, and turn us from our ways. Turn us to You again.

Father, we pray as people go to the polls today for Your will to be done. We pray for Your guidance as citizens select the next president of the United States. We pray also that Your hand will be on that person.

Amen...Help us Lord...bless your people... Governments, regimes, empires, politicians, and policies come and go; in the overall scheme of things, none hang around for long..All of these expand, recede, prosper, decline, and change direction and focus; there is little stability to count on over the long haul..Lord God you hold the only concrete possibility of change in individuals and societies....Please help us and bless this Country...In Jesus Name...Amen

It is hard to compare the two presidents as the times are different. War is never cheap but whether it was a right or wrong decision is not within the scope of this forum to determine. IMHO. My hope and prayer is that the man of God's own choosing will be the NEXT president I am sure that is what we are all praying for. Jan

Lord help this man know that you long to comfort him.
And God I ask that you would send comforters to this man strengthened by the comfort you have given them and ready to minister life and hope. Amen

My wife has been having minor troubles for several days. At about 6:00A.M this morning she went into severe diahrea & vomiting and continued until she was extremely weak & dehydrated . She couldn't walk and I no longer have the strength to carry her. I called an ambulance and had her transported to the hospital where they gave her something to control her bowls & stomach & put her an IV to restore her fluids. The ER doctor as well as our personal doctor decided to keep overnight in the hospital to sure be all is well before letting her come home.

I am home now to feed the puppy and take him outside. I'll be going back to the hospital in a few minutes.

Everyone please keep her in your prayers!
