  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Thanks leytonstones! I'm back home for a while to take care of Rusty, the puppy, again. He's playing on the floor for a bit. Soon it willl time for me to leave again. My wife was very groggy and slept most of the time that I was there, but was feeling better. Hopefully there willl be even more improvement this evening.

My wife
has been having minor troubles for several days. At about 6:00A.M this morning she went into severe diahrea & vomiting and continued until she was extremely weak & dehydrated . She couldn't walk and I no longer have the strength to carry her. I called an ambulance and had her transported to the hospital where they gave her something to control her bowls & stomach & put her an IV to restore her fluids. The ER doctor as well as our personal doctor decided to keep overnight in the hospital to sure be all is well before letting her come home.

I am home now to feed the puppy and take him outside. I'll be going back to the hospital in a few minutes.

Everyone please keep her in your prayers!

Bro' Amadeus

I do apologize, but I have been too-busy to see your crisis

I will pray for your wife and yourself
before I get into bed in a very few minutes

Father, give us your family, 'your peace'
let us, feel your loving care about us
and about those
whom we care so-much for, our nearest and dearest
to whom, we are always faithful
help us, to deal,
with those things, to which, you bring us
for we know, that you will always see us through it
and that the Good Shepherd will not desert His flock
Lord, I join, with my Brothers and Sisters here
in-prayer for Amadeus' wife and himself
and do trust, that thy will will be done
so that we may praise thee
and give thee all of, the glory
for Jesus' name's sake
amen

I would like to request prayer for my daughter-in-law Tamar. Her first pregnancy was so rough--throwing up all the time, C-section at the end--that she didn't even want to think of ever having another baby.

But her little girl is six now and in first grade, a darling, darling little girl. And Tamar is pregnant again.

She has thrown up so much that now she is throwing up blood. My son said that the doctor checked the baby. The little one is doing well and growing fast (she's about eight weeks along). But Tamar can't even keep down liquids right now, and if this continue she will have to be hospitalized.

I know the Lord can heal morning sickness. He healed me of it. Could you please agree with me in prayer?

Thank you all so much.

Hiyah Diana

Both of my 'past-wives' had this affect them several- times
and also my daughters

There isn't much that doctors can prescribe
in the fear of such 'crossing the placenta' to the baby

Instead, we/ they were offered LIFESTYLE 'changes'
that actually quietens the symptoms

I have tried to find similar information to that which they were given...
as we are all slightly 'different'
some practices /drinks may not suit another individual

I include this information [similar] here:

http://health.discovery.com/encyclopedias/illnesses.html?article=2064

http://www.americanpregnancy.org/pregnancyhealth/survivingmorningsickness.html

This paperback costs only $0.86

http://www.amazon.com/No-More-Morning-Sickness-Survival/dp/0452269830

I have to say that... the problem EASES with time
although my eldest daughter seemed to suffer
through most of one pregnancy and she
lost a lot of weight
because, JUST Seeing Food set her-off yakking
giving concerns for her and her baby's health

Father, you tell us "let the children come unto-me"
We pray, that you keep Tamar and her baby safe
from harm
We pray here, NOT for ourselves, but for another,
that we can be further-witness
to your efficacy and loving care
Father we pray as you have taught us

Our Father, who art in heaven
hallowed be thy name
thy Kingdom come thy will be done
in earth, as it is in heaven
give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our-trespasses
as we forgive them, that trespass against us
Lead us not, into temptation
but deliver us from evil
for thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory
forever and ever
amen

Thank you all so much for praying!

Tamar is home this morning and doing a little better. This is major! Last night it looked like she would be hospitalized. Surely this is God. Please let's keep praying!

Tamar's parents are with her and helping. They are godly, loving people, I am so much relieved to hear they are there. I also volunteered to go down to Houston in March, when my own kids are on spring break.

Thank you so much for praying!

Amadeus, I will continue to hold you and your wife in prayer.

Buttercup, I am praying for you right now.

My wife is still having trouble with continued diarhea in spite of medication. Apparently she contracted the same stomach virus which has hitting so many others of late. If things settle down she may still be released from the hospital later today. Thanks to everyone for your prayers. We know that God is able!

Ariel, I am also praying for Tamar...

Hi Amadeus
I prayed for you 2 yesterday, at work even :) and shall
continue. -

(Increasingly threatening, are "SUPER-bugs" ... as the direct-result of years of MD's not 'Culturing' growths to determine Bacterial, or Viral); so they prescribed Antibiotics for virii - which caused the critters to mutate - to the point that now Community/Hospital-aquired infections are rampaging worse out of control. :help: Yikes!) - I deal with that at work, where one client has been on 6 different ABO's for 2 yrs running)

And "Tamar" I know not who that is.
For simply sharing with Ariel a Christmas-greeting, I got an Infraction -as
I was told to put her "on Ignore". - So, I have no idea what is going on, with that.
~

At any rate, I will continue praying  Annie

Praise the Lord for Ariel's good news!

At the moment my wife is still in the hospital but we have hopes of her coming home this evening. [It is now 4:35P.M Central standard time]. She must see the doctor first. This aferternoon she was still fighting the diarhea, but the nausea appears to be gone. They gave her solid food for both breakfast and lunch without any adverse affects. That too is good news.

Thanks again for all of your prayers!
