Hi friends,

I wondered if I may prevail upon you mighty prayer wariors for a need in my life that has recently come to my notice:

My bosses wife is a very keen (and by all accounts good) horse woman, and they have a number of horses and ponies (14 at last count) aas well as 5 children.

Any way a week last Sunday she and her eldest son were out riding in the lanes around their home in Bicester, and a group of cyclists rode past them at some speed. As the cyclists were nearly silent the horses were spooked and bolted for 'home' which was quite nearby.

Caro and james are good horsemen and were not thrown but the horses did not slow down! As Caro's horse tried to turn into the home yard it slipped and fell, throwing Caro heavily onto her head.

The horse is unhurt, however, Caro is still in hospital (6 days later) in ICU and has yet to regain consciousness. The head injuries are medium to severe and it is touch and go.

Will you please keep her (Caro - short for Caroline), her husband (my boss) Tim, and their 5 children in your prayers. They desparately need them!

Oh Pete I to will keep this family in prayer. How quickly a life can change but the Lord has control. Have Grandchildren tonight and we will pray also.

Oh how awful of course I will pray for her and the family.
I also need to ask for prayer. I somehow have injured my left shoulder and woke up Sunday morning in very severe neck, shoulder and back pain. On Saturday while doing the trainng shift with the young disabled teen I think I injured it pulling on her wheelchair that was stuck between two seats in the van although I actully didn't feel anything but my usual nagging shoulder ache till Sunday am.
I had to leave church and come home and by the afternoon it was so severe I went to the local clinic. I had taken some pain meds and a muscle relaxer I had on hand before I went but they weren't helping much. I was hoping to get something different that would work better but he just reordered what I had already been taking and a shoulder Xray.
I guess they are leary of people coming in for strong pain medications and of course he didn't know me. Anyway yesterday I was flat of my back all day so couldn't schedule anything. Now I find out that the xray can't be done till tomorrow and my own doctor isn't in his office today at all.
I am sure the meds are doing something as I haven't fainted from the pain since Sunday afternoon while my husband was taking me to the clinic but it really doesn't seem that much better with the meds.
Please pray that it will heal quickly as I have to be fit and ready to work with this client Feb 17 and and Feb 24th. I have been able to book this week off from my other job but that isn't an option in the above case as I am the relief staff. That is why I was being trained.
I will see my doctor Thursday afternoon as I already had an appointment scheduled and get the Xray tomorrow. In the meantime I will just continue using the meds and heat and cold to manage the pain.

I am still off work but tons better. (Thanks so much Bonnie for your prayers) I still have to see the physio today and have tentatively booked off the week, we shall see how it goes. It still spasms quite a bit but I am off the heavy meds Hallelujah. Jan

I have a Prayer-need, on-going... (the past 7+ yrs. actually). Most of it relates to Stevie continuing to regain his ability to walk ; essentially good.

But also, 6 related complications which (when I let them, slay me). Friends, a few aware of what I/we have, & continue surmounting, are frankly astonished how Well we are doing. Then again, these friends know whereever I find myself surrounded by a briar of thorns, I've given it my all... changing whatever into
a bed of roses May you kindly pray that this time I/we will be this successful again. We would greatly*appreciate it. Thank*you Annie

Think people think they get extra credit for starting threads. But you're right I always look here for prayer needs, this is where it goes.

Hi all,
Please remember me in your prayers, somehow I have done something to my back and am having muscle spasm of the back. Have had it before and it is one of those things you just have to give it time and the good old heating pad having bad arthritis of the spine it doesn't take much to send the back into a tail spin. It hurts to sit so that's why I haven't done to much posting. Just please add me to your list.
