CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am praying for refreshment and strength for you angelwind.
I would like to add a request for a friend of mine also called Paul. He is not a believer but was a special education assistant at the school where I work for over 7 years. He has gone on to receive his teaching degree. He also worked many years as a community support worker with my disabled son. He and his wife and two young daughters have moved to a different area of the province and he is having a lot of trouble finding suitable teaching employment either full time or on call. His heart is to work teaching disabled students but is being told he doesn't have the right experience. He has even gone back to school to get the piece of paper that says he knows how to teach special education. However he has worked for years in the field just not as a classroom teacher. He is feeling a bit desperate about not being able to find a teaching job. He has an interview tomorow for a job to work as with teens with behaviour issues. It is not exactly what he wants but may be an open door into the new school district where he lives. Would you join with me in praying that a suitable job will open up soon. He is a new dad and is feeling the financial pressure greatly. I told him I would pray. Thanks friends. Jan

for Paul's job situation, and also that he will see that prayer was answered and he, and his family, come to know the Lord. Amen rebornfree!
How sad about Meghan, I do pray that the mystery of her whereabouts will be solved quickly and that she return safely. Also praying for the rest of the family who must be in agony. Jan

Just want you to know it seems my mite problem is better...I doubled the strength of my enzyme treatment. I see others are seriously in need of prayer... we are losing too many of our kids. And the job situation has me really overwhelmed...how will God provide for us???? Hmmmm...he did feed and water a lot of people once in the wilderness...and their animals. 
Lord we need to be able to keep seeing how big You are...even tho we look like grasshoppers in the sight of spiritual giants...nothing is too hard for you Father...God help us to pray according to Your will and purposes in these times...help us Lord to intercede with humble hearts...lead us beside quiet waters that we may be restored and hear Your voice in the scriptures...quicken us according to Your righteousness and lead us in uprightness...we need Your Holy Spirit desperately ... how may we pray for more of Him...show us Lord and make us "real", genuine disciples...learning to treasure You above all and think of what will bring You honor and glory in a very dark world. Thank You Lord...
