Could I please get some prayer here today? I'm struggling mentally/emotionally with an issue of which I don't want to go into specificially. But I feel like I need some prayer support today. (Especially prayers for mental clarity/discernment) Thanks!

HI,

Just got a pm from a friend of mine on another area of CF forums wanting me to pray for the Lord to send him the right roommate to share his house. He is a bit strapped financially right now and really needs to find the right person. He apologized because he felt this was a bit "trivial" but it is a real need for him at this time, and wanted me to pass this a long to others who would be willing to pray! I told him I would share it here...where we have a great group! Thanks in advance!

I agree, this is not a trivial need at all. God wants us to have godly friends, how much more godly roommates. I am praying that our dear heavenly Father, who takes care of sparrows and clothes lilies exquisitely, will hear and answer this need as well.

Father, You are so good. Thank you, dear Father. In Jesus' name we come into agreement for this young man for a godly roommate, just the right person, and for both of them to be blessed by their friendship, and by You. Amen.

I'm spending some time over the next couple of days specifically seeking God: firstly for some friends where there is serious illnes in the family, and secondly for direction in my own life. It is so hard waiting for God's promises to come to fulfillment (although I praise Him for His provision in the meantime). I need to make sure I don't go off in a wrong direction, and that He makes His way clear at the right time. I would also pray that there will be no obstacles in the right path. Right now I find it tough to keep-going and would love to have a short break. Also I am awaiting some (possibly life-changing) information from a professional, who is extremely busy, and keeps getting delayed in bringing it to me.

I'd appreciate a moment's prayer from anyone who could just "stand" with me in these issues. I believe there is power in that. Many thanks, and thanks for being the sort of people I could ask.

Praying about these issues with you, Sue! You are so right. I think there is certainly power in people agreeing with you in prayer!

I also have a prayer request. My husband has had sinus infection/issues for awhile now. Was scheduled for sinus surgery. They were able to clear it up with meds. So he didn't have it. Battling it again. He still doesn't want surgery if he can avoid it because he understands it's not always sucessful.

He also got his potassium level dangerously low last week. His doctor said it was so low that people have died from getting it so low! Now he is still dizzy, and weak and sick from the sinus infection and trying to hold down a very demanding job. He doesn't even know what's causing all this.

Could I please get some prayer support for him?

Lord you know the cause of kk's husbands sinus infection. I pray that you cut through all the red tape and send this man to the Dr. that will be able to correctly diagnose and to repair this sinus issue. Lord give this family the strength it needs to continue walking forward and praising You for all the things you have done for them. And Lord I just ask that you ease this man's pain and give him some options that will make his job less demanding and dependent upon him.
Lord just heal and give peace and grace unto this family as they walk through this area of illness in their lives. In Jesus name I pray Amen
