CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Please continue to pray for me for surgery on Oct 25. Been hearing talk and it might not be the piece of cake I thought it was going to be!!
Also my family(daughter son-in-law and 2 kids) are taking their dream vacation to Disney Land. Only problem is they have to fly!! None of them have flown before.Kids are excited Mom and Dad are petrified!!! Please pray for calm nerves and please please a safe flight.They'll be flying out on Delta 1539 at 8AM ; then Delta 1058 to come home. I know the Lord will protect them no matter what, all Christians ,but somehow they need to feel Him with them. Also pray for safety during stay at Disney. Thank you all

Please pray for the school violence taking place in this country. The one that happened today is the 5 time in a little more than a month that this has happened to our children. Our children need protection in the safest place there is---school!!!! We need to stop the evil one and build hedges around our schools!! Please get this on all your prayer lists

When Peter jumped out of the boat, he sunk instantly, because he took his eyes off Jesus. The Lord was there and lifted him up. Our Lord is a present help in time of trouble, and gives us the peace that passes all understanding.

Please pray for my daughter, she is having some tests done and is quite concerned. She is 34 yrs old with three children,stay at home mom, homeschools her children and tries to be faithful in all she does.Well my crew made it back from the great Disney vacation Thanks for praying for safety. Boy this is huge!! You bet I will pray and get her on a pray line from church. Try(impossible) try not to worry something great will come from this some place down the road. Try to leave it in the Lord's hands He is in control.
