This morning, I had (2) complicated 5-hour surgical-procedures done.

(I didn't ask for prayers here in ge50, as my helpful threads go ignored, so do people care??)

At any rate, JESUS as always wrapped His ever-loving energy around me, and
guided my thoughts... and tho now am (codeine spaced-out);
hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to appear at work... however brief PRAISE God! Annie

aside metabolizing/eliminating drugs quickly, i also managed to go to work today, where I taught for 6-hrs. :o no less!
(at lunch, I realized I forgot to bring the codeine , so had to make due with 3 plain! Tylenols.
Then after work, I had to run...errants that now I'm beyond tired!! ~ But JESUS is our ever-loving Friend & Guide... GOD Bless you! for your kind prayers...

Could I ask for prayer for my finances please? God has told me that they won't run out, and He is a wonderful provider, but I have had all sorts of things break down this year. God has dealt with each problem, but I'm feeling worn out with it all. Now my recently bought glasses are too small, and I get a headache wearing them. I cannot afford another pair, and have to budget so carefully for food, that finding the fare to the opticians would be difficult. I'm not sure if the optician should replace them (they told me they were a "young person's" pair; I didn't realise that meant smaller!). If they don't I'll have to wear my old pair which are a different prescription. lt really upsets me to think of all the economies I have made just to have wasted a chunk of my limited money on glasses I cannot wear! On top of suffering from grief and depression, and minor but upsetting physical conditions, this seems like the last straw. Life has been so difficult for the last fourteen years. I would appreciate prayer for God's guidance over my glasses, and for an easing of various difficult circumstances, and that nothing else breaks down or goes wrong! Thank you.

Would you all please continue to pray for my husband's recovery. Surgery recovery has gone well. He continues to be plagued by phlebitis in his arm, however, as a result of the IV he had in surgery.

{{{{rebornfree}}}} I know how life can get you down that has happened to me too. I am sorry about the glasses mix up. I don't know how it works in England but it is up to the optician to make sure your glasses are made with the correct prescription and are fitted correctly. If somehow they sold you glasses that are not appropriate then are they not liable to fix it. Maybe not but I would think they should. We have dealt with an online glass place that I believe originates in Britain. It is called select specs dot com. http://www.selectspecs.com/
At least I think that is the right link. Their prices were amazingly low compared to what we pay here in Canada. Just a thought. Praying that you would be encouraged and built up in faith and love today. Jan

i just lost mine, altogether; and am learning to march right on without. Most! of the time it's good ; but (anything over 2-blocks away gets fuzzzy ). - I'm praying you get your Glasses fitted Well...
