My gallbladder surgery was a piece of cake.

I got an email from Dale's daughter; it doesn't sound good.

"They were not able to remove the affected tissue. They found more spots of cancer than they anticipated.
They are hoping to try chemo and radiation, we should know more in a couple days."

She has spots in BOTH lungs....and just a few looked suspicious in that ONE lung.
She already had shortness of breath and pain before she went in.
Chemo and radiation 'may' help some, but that is grueling too.

I am hoping the best for her because we don't know the Lord's plan.... but my gut is telling me this is the beginning of the end (from my Hospice experience), and the 'end' may be not too far away

She really needs prayer ~ this will be a lot for her (and her family who is already struggling) to take in.... and decide on.
*Her brother's surgery is Friday (Biopsy)

There has been no update on Dale this week.
Her daughter was hoping she would come home Sunday, said she was trying to stay positive, and had a long road ahead of her.
I am not sure what was suggested, considered, or accepted for treatment (if any), and am praying for their strength and grace during this difficult time.

Lord have mercy! My son (26) worries me often. He is in therapy, a professing christian and "out of closet" gay man. No friends, doesn't like school, has no vision...please pray. My cousin suicided at 33 years of age (also gay) but back then (1973) it was not as socially accepted.

Dale and her grandson saw it happen at their home; it was horrific Her daughter was there as well.

On top of it, her daughter just had a baby, lost her MIL suddenly from a heart attack a few weeks later, and is watching her FIL dying of cancer
I could go on and on re: all their trials....it is incredible how one family can suffer so greatly

Urgent prayer request~~~ my co worker's mother had massive stroke and prognosis is very dire!. This lady is probably in only her mid fifties. I have personally known of 2 situations where the person was not expected to live but they did and recovered! So lets pray in faith! Dont know if this woman is a believer or not. (Her daughter isnt as far as I know.) Thanks in advance for your prayers!!!
