Dale will be having surgery on Tuesday; depending on the frozen section biopsy of the nodules, she may need to have her entire lung removed

On Friday, her brother Phillip, will be having a biopsy of his esophagus; surgery/treatment will be planned later, depending on test results.

Dale is also asking prayer for her family; she has a lot of stress and concern re: them (which she doesn't need!)

Praying for the Lord's perfect will to be done for Dale and her loved ones.
May they have the light and grace to embrace it.

Survived the gallbladder surgery. Am doing pretty well today.. My friend , Wendy, is doing fairly well but is still having a lot of the gas pain from the air the shoot in when done laparascopically. Thanks for all prayers!

I got an email from Dale's daughter; it doesn't sound good.

"They were not able to remove the affected tissue. They found more spots of cancer than they anticipated.
They are hoping to try chemo and radiation, we should know more in a couple days."

She has spots in BOTH lungs....and just a few looked suspicious in that ONE lung.
She already had shortness of breath and pain before she went in.
Chemo and radiation 'may' help some, but that is grueling too.

I am hoping the best for her because we don't know the Lord's plan.... but my gut is telling me this is the beginning of the end (from my Hospice experience), and the 'end' may be not too far away

She really needs prayer ~ this will be a lot for her (and her family who is already struggling) to take in.... and decide on.

So sorry for this bad report. It is totally in God's Hands now but God can do miracles. We saw a remarkable evidence of healing in a man who goes to our church just this week! He had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer metastasized to his liver but God moved in his behalf!!!
