My Dad is 86 and suffers from dementia and Parkison's. He has been through a rapid decompensation period and it is really taking it's toll on my Mom (83) who is having a hard time adjusting to this situation particularly his verbal and physical assaults. They suffered virtually no discord in a 60 yr marriage until now. Please pray that she receive comfort during this difficult time. Thank you!

It's never easy to watch our parents grow old...I am praying not only for them but for you as you go through this trial. Although the Lord hears and knows my requests even before I ask, may I know your name for my prayers? God bless.

I just talked to Dale, and the preliminary reports are GOOD...Praise God!!

The cancer had not spread; it was contained to both lungs.
The left lung is clear of cancer from the surgery, and the right lung has the cancer of lesser concern.
The doc is meeting with the tumor board today to discuss what treatment they should take (if any right now).

Please continue to pray for her:
1) comfort; she is in terrible pain (untouched by meds)
2) direction re: her treatment
3) financial means to retire

A long time ago, I asked prayers for my (ex) son-in-law, James.
He was drinking, doing drugs, lost his job....we were very concerned for his life (and the effects on my grandsons)

Praise God

He has been clean and sober for over a year, is working full time, and will be getting his drivers license back this week!

Continued prayers please ~ for a quick resolution to a legal issue re: a bank debt, that he finds the Lord again, and can keep clean

A year ago on the 16th of this month, my dear daddy died, I am so lonesome and miss him so much.

Please pray for my deep depressioin, it just won't lift and no matter what doctor I see, etc, I am not helped.

Also, pray for my marriage, we have only been married 6 months, but it is not good at all and I am so wanting to leave and go back home to where I feel good and can my life back in order.

Would appreciate prayer for us and for our church. Without going into a lot of detail--our pastor has decided that he is not gifted to be a senior pastor and is going on staff with a large church we have been associated with. Our church is being absorbed as a "second location" of this church and one of their pastors is coming to be our pastor now. We are not sure if we will stay or go. Would appreciate prayers gor our church and the members and direction for Paul and I personally. Thanks!

Sister Kay,

Your church situation will be in my prayers. My church is in the midst of change right now also, but we already have a good temporary or permanent solution. We'll miss our pastor that we've had for 17 years.
