Update on My Cousin's Daughter...

It turns out my cousin had let her go live with her dad for awhile cause thats what she wanted...but his work sent him to Hawaii for a week...so he left her home with his wife and her daughter...that weekend the wife decided to leave the girls and join hubby (both girls are minors), then there was the concert. I guess he didn't start worrying until she stopped answering her cell phone.
My Cousin has spoken to her and they are going to meet at the courthouse to sign her off as emancipated. She's devastated, she says this isn;t the daughter she's raised. Cortney has been involved in church her whole life, up until the last few months when she went to live with her father.
They were also worried for my Uncle and Aunt as he has heart problems and she has high blood pressure.
The police were searching all over RI and had lookouts in Phil and Cal as thats where this band was said to have been headed next.
I give the Glory to God for the info on My Space leading to the info on the other site and being able to locate her that way!
Amen!
Keep her in prayers still though...and the family they are very tore up by this

I'm applying for a part-time advocate position at the homeless shelter where I volunteer. I'm praing for God to open this door if this is how He would have me minister. Your prayer support is appreciated very much!

She is still not home, and I have not talked to her since last night. I got a text message that I did not like the sound of. She is getting very agitated, and I fear another breakdown. I have called her several time today, and only got her voicemail. She needs to be home!!! All she lacks is a signature!!!

Well, I finally made some headway. I decided to call the ER (I told you I didn't like the sound of her text message yesterday) And my gut feeling was right. She is in the hospital. I asked them if she had hurt herself, and they told me no, but that may not have been the truth. I can't talk to her until after 11, so I will call back then, and then give a better update. Thanks so much for all the prayers!

Well, I did talk to her, and she sounded good. Well, as good as can be expected, anyway. She did have another breakdown, but she is okay. Or, she will be anyway. Thank you all for your prayers. Keep them coming! Hopefully, she will be home by Tuesday. And, I will be able to sleep tonight.

3 weeks ago I asked for prayer for a dear elder friend of ours, a Deacon at our church, the person who also helped for me to be able to get my laptop last October. He's also the sweetheart of a man who let my grandson Alex drive his John Deere lawn mower, and the other things at his farm that day while he was visiting. He's a sweet and special friend, and a dear man,
Lamar had a small mass on his kidney and I had asked for prayer that it be nothing. Monday they went to Atlanta for the biopsy, and Friday the results came back.
It's Malignant Cancer.
Thursday at 9am he is having his kidney removed...please keep Lamar in prayer Thursday morning, and his dear wife Jimmie.
