CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey guys...On 1/9/07 someone tied a female sheppard mix puppy to the shelter gate. We went in and immediately set up a place for the puppy, went back out to get her and only the collor/leash was there. PLease PLease pray we find her. She is only about 4 months olds. Its been soooo cold here at night. Please pray for her saftey.

Still no luck with the puppy. We have a notice posted everywhere. even in the paper. I hope the people who left her there read it and feel bad!
I am believing someone took her in. Our shelter is right by a huge truck stop. Maybe she made her way to a nice truck driver who will let her travel with him, a traveling companion so to speak.

Cathy loves her husband Randy
1) my mom has a colonoscopy tomorrow morning.
Because we are finally getting "winter" weather driving could be troublesome in the morning.
And she is curerntly having fun drinking the meds to clean out her system.
2) my arthritic right hand acting up.
Seems I may have been online a bit too much the last day or two.
I try to limit my time on especially at one sitting.
