I would like to ask y'all to pray for me as I go take a test for a possible career change. This job would be more than double what I make now!!

Please pray for Dave.

He is dying of cancer. The Doctor gave him 6 weeks about 2 weeks ago. But it has reached his brain and it looks like he may not make it through tonight.

We are uncertain of his relationship with Christ. We will be attempting to witness to him tonight. Pray that he will hear and understand and will have his opportunity to make his decision.

Follow-up on Dave:

He's still with us, or at least was as of the end of the evening last night.

He was in and out of consciousness, but he did express understanding of the Gospel and assurance of his own belief in Christ and salvation. So there is more peace today.

Thank you for your prayers. Please also remember his wife, Mary, daughter Erin, & Son-in-Law Paul as they seek to give him comfort in his last hours and prepare to lose him until our heavenly reunion.

Please pray for my former employer Debbie as she undergoes treatment for an aggressive form of breast cancer. Thanks, guys.

Asking for prayer:

1) My mother(she is saved) who is only 75 and has my brother (unsaved and very controlling) living with her, has to see the neurologist tomorrow, for a number of things; memory loss, slowed rehabilitation of a hip/leg; and probs. in one arm; sounds very ominous, but I know God can and will do miracles!! My other brother and his wife want to put her right away in a home!! I think that will spell doom in her mind; she has always been sharp and active; but no one knows what happened.
I keep having thoughts that is is spiritual, since her decline began when my brother moved in and he is so much like my ex; very domineering and fallen away from any belief in God.

2) Prayer for me and my bf as we decide what to do and when to marry/blend our families. We had orig. planned for March/April, but seems like we don't have the finances in total order nor a place for all of us, so unless God moves in a mighty way quickly; seems like we have another year as bf/gf, which is fine, too. Just we would love to begin our lives together and have the children all in one home.

I heard about her illness third-hand so I'm not sure how she's doing. I have a card prepared to send to her today that lets her know she has people praying for her. Thanks

And just to mention, as I have before -- I don't often comment in this thread, but I continue to read and pray for all the requests that are posted. You guys are so great about supporting each other, and I for one really appreciate it.
