I asked God for strength, that I may achieve,
I was made weak to humbly obey.
I asked God for health that I may do great things,
I was given infirmity that I may do better things.
I asked for riches that I might be happy,
I was given poverty that I may be wise.
I asked fo power that I may have the praise of men,
I was given weakness that I may feel the need of God.
I asked for all things, that I may enjoy life,
I was given life, that I may enjoy all things.
I got nothing that I asked for--but everything I had hoped for.
Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered.
I am among all, most richly blessed.

I just got word that a couple of my dad's cousins are at the bedside of their 84 yr old aunt until the end.

I could use your prayers. I've been in some annoying pain the past few days. I think it's a pinched nerve that's sending pains down my left leg. It's made it tough to find a comfortable way to sleep.

People have been telling me there's not much I can do about it. I'm taking ibuprophen to try to help but I don't want to overdo those either.

Tomorrow is D-day so if you will just lift this up I will be truly grateful.
One year check up Mammography, blood works, the nodule in my lung Catscan with contrast all tomorrow.

The 2 little dogs that I asked you to pray about got adopted together.

Last week I went for a skin biopsy. It came back abnormal. I don't need any further treatment because the surgery got it all. But now I have to have more biopsies on more abnormal looking skin. Please pray that these all come back normal.
