Please pray for my life to be completely restored. All my life, I have constantly been at the receiving end of a lot of bullying. Since I was a child, I have dealt with a lot of emotional and mental abuse. I have had many people come into my life with the intent of destroying my self-esteem. Most of these individuals were relatives. Please pray for a hedge of protection around me as I will soon be moving and living in the same area as someone that has worked constantly to discredit me, ruin my reputation, turn people against me and make me feel bad about myself. I cannot avoid being around this person because they are close to my sister, who I love very much. Please pray for my protection from this person.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Does your sister know about what this person has done in the past ?
Would she speak up for you? Or at least not tell this person about you and let you visit her when this person is not around?

Document every instance of negative comment or action. As far as possible get them corroborated by a third party, plus there details.
Or don't move there go somewhere away from these people and start again.

One way or another you will be sure to see people you know. That is because the disorder is very common.
The videos might help you to understand what is going on, and the comment sections in particular might help you to see how others have coped.
There is a great, classic, book on how to deal with difficult people that is called
The Gentle Art Of Verbal Self Defense.
I pray that you will be healed from past trauma and abuse, and that you will learn how to deal with difficult people and maintain your peace and grace.
