My parents and brother came and visited for a whole week and things went smoothly! No major incidents. Only one or two minor ones like how my mom brought an old green pepper with her and tried to put it in my wife's dish...my wife cooks with fresh organic ingredients.


We had lots of fun and everyone played well with our almost-four year old.

Today, we took our youngest son for a pediatrics appointment and we got to meet with the Nurse Practitioner and the Head Nurse, and they were FANTASTIC!! I LOVE nurses. They are the best.

It is our eldest son's 20th birthday tomorrow. Wow. He has been "mine" since he was 7, and I can't believe that all this time has passed. He posted today on Facebook that this was the last day that he will have "teen" in his age. He's such a great guy.

My husband and son have gotten our house ready to go on the market almost a week ahead of schedule! My son said he's going to look for a part time job to have some money "to help out" until we move!!! Thank you Lord for blessing me beyond belief right now!

We had a great second honeymoon in Hawaii that I just got back from. Work sent me there, so DW and I left the kids with my parents, went out a week early, and hung out on the big island. Beach front condo, Eco-Inn on Volcano. Lots of fun.
