i just typed in. i feel like cutting. and this came up.
im 17 and have lots of self esteem issues and before my senior year of high school i cut for the first time...its been a year this month...i told my cousin, best friend in the world. and then it got worse...i havent for a couple weeks...but everyone around me has their life together and im still a mess...i dont know what to do. i dont even know if i believe in god anymore...
i dont expect anything from this...but i just want to see whats gonna happen...

Goodness, I feel better.
I haven't been cutting for at least 3 weeks now, and I'm kind of begin low. But, keeping myself with God has helped.
I know you all can make it, even though it's the lowest of the low. You call all do it!
Cutting is never the answer, when my parents saw that I cut myself, they almost took everything away from me.
Cutting is honestly not worth it. It never was. Hang out with your friends and family, they always help.
Everyone can do it. I have all faith in all of you sisters and brothers. God is with you through each and every step. God bless you.

ok I'm had a really bad night.
I need a seriose vent.

We had youth group & were makin movies. It was so awesome but when we stoped for supper, Aimee & Hayley were sittin & aimee had the mic. for our movie, hayley pushed aimee back so they both feel back & paul comes in & starts yellin at them b'coz they have the mic & o no their gonna brake it & telling them to go out side in the freezing cold & I'm like 'NO! you cant do that, its freezing' & his just like 'shut up missy, you stay out of it' & I'm like NO! & this goes on & on & paul almost hits us both. He did it last youth group to me b'coz me & bianca were screaming. '& we stoped when we were told!'
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I HATE HIM! Oh My Gosh. I wanna smash in his face.
& his like oh, I'm gonna tell ben (our leader who wasnt there) that we should be band from youth group.

& before that. This girl who I already dislike (she spead mine & everone elses secrets around & told everyone her dad raped her in a public bathroom using the storie of a little girl who that did happen to & she was killed 2 days b4.). Gave my prayer pal (kinda a mentor) a pressie for her b'day, not so much that, but she knew what I gave her & I made it perfect, I ended up making 4 copies of it so it was just right. & I asked her what her fave bible verse was & drew her fave flowers (i gr8 at drawing flowers) & coloured it in with water colour paint. I put photos of the youth all the way round it & framed it.
& what does carlie do, goes & trys to copie what I had done. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR


I so wanna cut, I've been on this go go go since the thing with paul. I wanna cry, but I cant. I wanna cut but its been so long. I dont wanna give in.


Why is it always gotta be one bad thing after the other?

How are you now CIA??? Don't give into the urge hun! Find other ways of letting your frustrations and anger out. Try running, try a punching bag, and PLEASE don't forget to pray!

Don't know why I'm even posting because it's not like I'm angry or anything. I don't know really it just the last week have not been the easiest week with being home alone most of the time. I Have been sitting on the edge of cuttin for most of that time. A lot of it has been verberly telling myself no, but not sure long thats going to work for. I got a big knock down when it came to thinking that I had the mental strength to beat something, that I really wanted achieve. Like bike up a massive hill, but I gave up on that and had to be picked up.

I don't know things have just been weird lately, and they are looking like nothing will change soon.

Dear one, try it 5 minutes at a time if you have to. You can do it, even though it seems impossible, thats a lie that the enemy will feed you that the only option you have is to self harm.

Try 5 minutes and when you make it to five minutes, try getting through 10 minutes. One you've made to 10 minutes try for 30 mins. As you go, and as you make each small little goal, it gives you the strenght to aim for the next small goal.

There may be times that you dont make it, in which case its time to get back on that bike and go again. I know for myself it took me lots of attempts before I finally got long periods of no SI time under my belt

Ok, so you didnt make it this time...... Try again... I know it seems impossible when you are right in the middle of self injury, it feels like you will never ever be able to stop doing it. Just try one minute at a time if thats all you can do. And when you make it through a minute, pat yourself on the back and reset the goal and make it on to the next one

SI became a way of coping for me, and I thought I could never stop doing it, however eventually the times between SI got longer and longer

Hmmm... that sounds a little cold after re-reading it...
Ari, you're surrounded by people who do care if you SI here at CF, including me. I also bet there are people outside of CF who do care that you can go to and get a hug from or whatever else. For me, that "person to person" contact is powerful. What I really wanted to say was that I challenge you to look at those physically around you and find people who would care if you SI'ed. Please, stay safe, and hang in there!
