Spend some time in the Control Panel (I forget what it's called on a Mac!) and most of what you will tinker with in there. Lots of fun! If you do any programming, which I don't, you can do lots of cool stuff from the Unix prompt.

Computer Science is my major.. with a minor in Mathematics.. lol.

I purchased my intel macmini when I was going through training as an applecare agent.
Slowly it has replaced my PC's for most of my casual computer use.
Apple's truly are the LEXUS of the computer market. Luxury and Style.

I have always liked the geeky type. To me, geek is a good word... although some people take it offensively. When people call me a geek, I am very honoured.

Just because I am a Computer Science guy, doesn't mean I am a geek!! With that said, I don't mind it at all. Labels can be funny and revealing. If I am not on the computer, or buried in a book (school work/enjoyment reading), I am on my motorcycle cruising at the fastest possible speeds, without getting caught.... yet..


Oh by the way.. I am a geek.

I did an antispyware scan on my mac--I've not scanned anything since I bought it some months ago. All it found was a couple of tracking cookies (cnn & google)-and I hadn't done my weekly cookie flush.

That's the great thing about Macs. You don't have to load them down with antivirus/spyware sniffers.

This is a cool iTunes extension-improved visualizer. The "soft skies" sucks but GForce is great...
