Great! Then you'll have no problem answering my detailed questions.
Here they are again -
God is both organic and Spirit.By "living", do you mean god is an organism made up of organic materials? Is god carbon-based? Does god have physical dimensions? If so, what are they?
God has no inherent limitations. That would defeat the purpose of Godhood. He however can and has self-imposed limitation on His physical being when He came as Christ.By "walking", do you mean that god needs to travel from place to place? What is god's average stride? How long does it take god to walk from Los Angeles to New York?
As the Christ yes He has physical parts that allow Him to talk. As Spirit God is not effected by time or space. Has no need of air.By "talking", do you mean god physically has lungs, a mouth, a tongue, teeth and vocal cords? Can god talk in deep space where there is no air?
I said the New Testament is written for Christians, because if I said the entire Bible I know some Jewish people that would take exception to, in a way, suggesting the Old Testament isn't theirs.
My point is you can't legislate morality as a secular nation. Even in the Bible there's only been one established theocracy created by God, and that's Israel. The fact that the US doesn't recognize one religion as being correct does mean we can't make laws based on one religion. We are supposed to provide freedom to people.
I'd also point out to you that lying is not against the law unless under oath. Having a different God is not against the law, nor having idols. You don't try to create laws that would outlaw these things.
Why do you stand so firm on THIS, and not the others? I have never received an answer to this question and, honestly, I'm not sure I ever will.
Explain that in your own words, not by using the blind and uncritical veneration of scripture. What is god's organic makeup? What's god's approximate weight? What does god eat? Is god restricted by gravity? How tall is god?Sure...
God is both organic and Spirit.
You talking about the spirit god, the living organism god, or both?God has no inherent limitations.
Before we do some math, does the spirit god have dimension, or does it fill the entire universe and beyond? If spirit god does have dimension, what is it? If spirit god does not have dimension, how can Jesus be sitting on the right hand of spirit god?Let's do some math for how long it would take God, as the physical pre resurrection Christ to travel from NY to LA.
So, Jesus physically speaks today? (Keep in mind, I don't want us conflating the historical Jesus figure, with right now as we read this thread.)As the Christ yes He has physical parts that allow Him to talk.
Could you please answer this?
And they should have the right to marry whomever they please. One of these days the US Supreme Court will affirm that right for the nation and you will not be happy I am sure.We don't try to create secular laws that deal with lying because no one demands the "right" to be allow to lie. You don't see mass protests of people insisting that they have a right to lie (or cheat, or steal...) but you see protests of people saying they have a right to marry whomever they darn well please.
Start a protest demanding the right to lie and you'll find Christians will stand against it.

Pointing out that every time Christians decide to protest something they do not like they end up on the losing side. This is a secular nation so you do not get to use the bible to control a minority.Your reply doesn't address what I said. So what are you on about, or did you just want to throw that opinion in there?

Mine is the circular reasoning? Why should I keep chasing your circular reasoning?
You can't define God, nor put Him in a little box that you can comprehend. He's beyond that. Limitless, unimaginable.
The point is, why does homosexuality seem to be made out as a "worse sin" than being the wrong religion or the like?
Mine is the circular reasoning?
You made the claim that you know, with absolute certainty. I merely took you to task by asking some follow-up questions.
So, you're claiming you're absolutely certain of something which is unimaginable, incomprehensible and unknowable. Who's really the one using circular logic? Come on, now. Be honest.
Your icon or the Bible?
Oh wait, you're angelican. That would explain your position on doctrine.
I am Beloved of God - doctrine from any institution is secondary to espousal with God.
Dead people are surprisingly mum on answering to things. I hear on good authority that this is because one is dead and the dead are notoriously lazy.Regardless, I would hold my tongue on trying to talk for your Deity. It is a jealous entity and warns of simple men attempting to talk for it unjustly. The beauty of it is that it is entirely within your right to have that opinion. You'll one day die and have to answer for it, but you still have the right to it.
God (singular, there is only one) draws the lines of morality. At least the only lines that matter.
By definition, nothing incomprehensible and unimaginable can be known with absolute certainty. To state otherwise is a contradiction in terms. The best you can muster is strong belief. And just so you know - strong belief does not equate to epistemological knowledge. And I answered them. But you want to continue to ask them because you aren't getting the answer you want to hear. Notice I said "you want to hear" not "you expect to hear"
I'm absolutely certain of the existence of God. As to how one defines Him so that you and other non-believers can comprehend of Him I have no idea. The very concept of God, of an Almighty King whom we all answer to wars against your very understanding of reality. How can I make you understand such a thing? I can't. So why bother trying? What would be the point?
Fact is no matter what I say, or evidence I present it will never be enough to overcome the human ego. God alone can do that.
