• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

I just might not let those cute goats rub their noses on me
Yeah that would probably not be a good idea!

I just turned them back into their own pasture, careful not to touch them. Half a day of eating, drinking, and doing goat-ey things apparently cleaned them up enough. Because they did like to nuzzle!

No problem! I'm going to the doctor tomorrow. Whether it's poison ivy or something similar or a combination of issues, we'll eventually get to the bottom of it. Thanks for the input.

Glad you're going to get to see the doc. I hope you're feeling better soon!

I'm not itching anymore. The spider bite is drying up, but the dark bump in the middle better go away in its own because I'm not going to touch it.

I'm always curious about health issues so I just watched this video about a brown recluse bite. I wanted to know why a large gaping wound occurs. The video doesn't show the wound, but the audio is very interesting.

Glad you're feeling better!

In my (very limited) understanding, the wound develops from a brown recluse bite because the tissue necrotizes (dies) after being attacked by enzymes in the spider's venom.

I do know it can make a nasty wound.

That video is creepy to watch. I don't really like spiders.

But I am glad you're feeling better!
