CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Sex, boyfriend/girlfriend things usually lead to sex. Sex can lead to children. It is best to date people with similar faiths. Friends, well friends of any faith seem to be ok.

Legitimizing sex by marriage is not a new phenomonon. If you do sex you had better use at least one form of birth control. Foam and propholactics are a good idea in unison. Outercourse if better. Abstinece is better yet.The Chariot said:

Dear Kinda confused,you has some good replies,I can only repeat their advice.God tells us in the bible,for our own good,to marry a partner of the same belief,I know a few and they are all well-matched and happy.If we believe that we would be strong and patient enough to bring our partner to believe as we do,I am sure that God will know and help too.(If we keep asking the Lord`s help in prayer)but if we blindly rush into marriage with an unbeliever,we are asking for trouble,unless one partner is completely willing to accept all difference of opinion and follow the partner in everything.Somehow I cannot believe in such harmony,and my advice to you Kinda confused is,you will only be able to lead a contented life,if you have God on your side.I say this lovingly and humbly.Sincere greetings from Emmy,a sister in Christ.
